So glad I chose the aerlit shuttle
I bought this as a tatting newbie. I wasn't sure whether to go for this shuttle or a plastic 'all in one' model without the metal hook. I'm so glad I went for this one. In tatting the hook is really useful (you would need a separate crochet hook with the other model). 5he aerlit shuttle also has a bobbin that pops out so you can carry around extra thread very easily and you're less likely to run out of you tat on the train or in a waiting room etc.

Really good shuttle
This is an excellent shuttle the removal of the inner bobbin to load it so much easier than trying to wind round the main shuttle. The hook needle makes it easier to undo stitches & joining picots

The hook wasn't too good and after a few uses the shuttle couldn't hold the tread properly.

A great quality shuttle and well worth the money
A great quality shuttle and well worth the money. With the integrated hook and good bobbin spin resistence this is a joy to use. I've tried cheaper brands of this shuttle but found the bobbins tended to spin freely when I needed tension. It's worth paying a little more for a quality item.

Good quality
I like this tatting shuttle! Has a convenient anchor, super easy to use it during my work. I am satisfied with the quality of this shuttle and highly recommend it for others. Definitely purchase some more in different colors.
