If you use a compound mitre chop saw then you will know that getting an exact angle is very hard to do. The marks on the saw will be near at best, and if trying to cut an angle that will be seen such as a door frame or picture frame is near on impossible.However, with this tool you can set the vertical angle perfectly. You place it on the cutting base and zero it then put it on the saw blade using the magnetic base and simply adjust to the correct angle. Works brilliantly. Of course it's also ideal for table saws and band saws.It's small, neat and feels like it's decent quality. It even comes with a spare button battery.Overall a brilliant addition to any woodworkers inventory.

Can't fault this little box except to say that the plastic covering the screen is very thin so you need to be a bit careful not to put your thumb there when pulling it off a surface it's stuck to.Other than that, it's accurate, compact, feels solidly built, and is really essential in setting up accurate bevel angles on table or bandsaws.

Very happy with the product absolutely spot on, just a shame the delivery currier had about as much brain power as an amoeba and couldn't find the address and never thought to call or ask someone so it was a late delivery. But on a positive note like I say the product is fantastic.

I have actually attached this item to my telescope to help me find the occasional difficult target that eludes my attempts with my star charts! I have two of them fitted to the telescope - one for azimuth bearing and the other for elevation readout.It lives out in a `housing' in the garden and when the telescope gets wheeled out it does its job competently and accurately in the cold and often damp air.I haven't owned this one for sufficient time to comment upon its longevity, but the other one was fitted over a year ago and has endured the rigours of last winter and general condensation without problem.It's amazing what the Chinese can produce for this money.

Had to be returned as the base was not flat and rocked around 1 degree, which is a significant inaccuracy on a tool like this.

This digital Angle Gauge is very small (tbh i expected it to be a bit bigger), but the build quality is suprisingly well! (I just unpacked it and tested it shortly) it seems to work fine as well.The only concern i have so far will be the battery cover this seems less massive than the rest of the housing.But i am very impressed so far! Will give an update later after excessively testing it at work!
