Reliable Rennet
Good product. I bought this last year in a 50ml bottle. The rennet works and I am beginning to get the hang of mozzarella making. I also make Halloumi cheese with the rennet too. Homestead Farm Supplies were very good about the fact that I ordered the wrong product when I ordered vegetable rennet instead of animal rennet, and simply cancelled the wrong product so that I could order the right type that I wanted. When you find a no-nonsense supplier stick with them!

Junket
I bought the rennet to make junket. In the past I have tried vegetable rennet without success. Simply measuring milk into a ramekin and pouring into a glass bowl, putting the bowl in a saucepan with a couple of cm of water, once the temperature had reached 100°F (38°C) I added a teaspoon of rennet. I put the junket into the fridge. When I checked it had set. I grated nutmeg on top and enjoyed it. I shall try adding a little rum and a nice dessert will be produced.

Very cheesy
Ideal for making home soft chesse. But was unaware of shelf life and amount required. I will probably will end up discarding 3/4 as I do it as a hobby not industrial chesse making.
