Video works great but IR is not working. Blaster and receiver plugged in properly but still no control with remote control.

This is a simple way to run HDMI through the house. I haven't had any issues with lag or problems with the remote which is great seeing as I am obviously off the grid. I recently started using the OREI 1x2 HDMI Extender Splitter, and I’m really impressed with how smoothly it works. It effortlessly extends a 4K@60Hz signal over a single CAT6/7 cable up to 400 feet without any noticeable lag or loss in quality. Well this device was bought on June 2 and stop working at the beginning of August and off course Amazon said ups is out of 30 days return period and you have to get in contact with sellers well there’s not a contract with the seller or very little only true e-mail and whenever they like to respond to you and the phone number don’t even bother to call I have call at least 30 times but customer services is always no available at this it doesn’t matter what time you call they don’t respond so I finally got a green light true e-mail and they send me the RMA which I had to pay for the return for repairs because they don’t cover that now they the item for at least 6 days now and asking all kinds of silly questions they don’t even confirm the have may tracking number said is being delivered supposedly this device had 1 year warranty but I have been fighting with the and Amazon since the beginning of August and now is August 29 and I am still waiting not good product or customer service very disappointing also with Amazon last representative from Amazon told that Amazon couldn’t do anything about because it was over 30 day like I could predict the future and know this was going to stop working I would not even bother to buy it now I just have to wait and see is was a waste of money or what
