love Love LOVE this bin! Cannot rate it highly enough - smart and elegant design, with a quiet smooth-closing action. Takes waste and recycling items in two separate 20L plastic buckets which are not visible from the outside, easily removed for cleaning and large enough not to have to empty too often for a family of three. Stands absolutely rock steady on our somewhat smooth kitchen floor, whereas our old bin used to slide around when used. I had a lot of 30L liners left over from our previous bin, which I don't need to waste as they can be used in this bin by pulling the excess through 'bag tuck' openings in the top of the buckets - they've really thought of everything! However, just to be extra nice, the manufacturer supply a trial pack of 10 of their own liners catering for the 20L buckets, which obviously fit perfectly. It was a big investment for a kitchen bin, but with a 10 year warranty and the obvious quality of this product, I think it was well worth it.

Simple human bins are extremely well made and fit in well with a high spec kitchen. The pedal is fantastic for hands-free operation and the butterfly opening late means a reduced height whilst retaining a wide aperture to access the bins inside. With two separate bin compartment inside these could be used for recycling, but in a large family we find it helpful to be able to empty one side at a time, making rubbish disposal that much easier. Use the simple human custom bin liners for a perfect fit.

An amazing product, the only one I could find with recycle bin, front pedal, and butterfly lid for maximum space saving. On the expensive side but elegant, modern the ability to buy the bin liners and regular basis through amazon us great. I can only buy these on ordinary and not the recycle, come on Amazon sort that out! It is size d you need.

The compartments inside are a good size, each inner bin is easily removable and has an air vent near the bottom allowing for the bin bag to filled and not puff up like other bins. Opening mechanism is really smooth, and looks good.

This bin is amazing. I truly never thought I would say this, but I love this bin! Well worth the money. I also never thought I would spend that much on a bin. The recycling is now off our counter tops and in its own space! The bin size for the rubbish and the recycling are the same size bins. The recycling definitely fills up faster than the rubbish for us, but it's very easy to empty. We did use one of the liners in our recycling side to prevent the inside of the bin from getting filthy/wet from anything that has been rinsed but not dried enough or in case any of the rubbish splatters over. So far this has worked well. Surprisingly, we've received quite a few compliments on our bin as well. Highly recommend.

A stylish, practical and quality piece of kit which looks durable and which fits nicely under the end of my counter top. Worth the money. I was a little worried by the size at first, but any smaller and you'd be emptying it every five minutes and as I say, it's a handsome piece of kit which looks good in my kitchen. As an added bonus, it's also finger-print proof. Go for it!

This bin is excellent for the space I have - it fits and opens under the counter but is not so low that I have to bend to use it. It is quite large but has a slim profile so doesn't dominate and there's enough room to get a good quantity of both rubbish and recycling into each bin. A wheel at the back would be useful as it's slightly cumbersome to move. The bin bags provided (10) fit well and are sturdy. I am very pleased with the bin but would note that it came with a dent in the side (annoyingly, the side that is visible in the room!). The packaging wasn't damaged at all and the bin was well protected within the box so I can only assume, as other reviewers have commented, that this dent happened in the factory and that it was sent out like that. I'm not going to return it because it seems likely that any replacement might also be dented and it is largely a cosmetic fault. However, this is an expensive item and it should be in perfect condition when sent out and I'm disappointed. I've only had it a week so can't speak to its durability but the only bin to have survived the staff room in my workplace for more than a year is a simplehuman one so I have hopes that this one will last a long time.
