This has taken over 1st place for gradual tanners!
I am no novice to fake tan - I've actually become quite the fake tan queen since I quit using sunbeds a couple of years ago.I dont actually use graduals anymore like I used to when I first started tanning.. I'm fair but into the dark tans now I've found the perfect colour and mastered the blending. I apply a dark tan once a week, but bought this to use mid week to maintain some colour and hydrate my skin because most fake tans are quite drying..Onto the actual product..It has no guide colour (as graduals very rarely have any colour) but still used a mitt to ensure even coverage. The consistency is thick but goes on nicely. Its smooth and isn't as sticky as St Tropez gradual lotion. Its white in colour and doesn't smell of anything really - unusual for me because I'm used to a burst of coconut surrounding me haa..I stood by the fan for 10-15 minutes before getting dressed and let it develope overnight.I had a quick wash this morning to remove the excess and the colour is lovely! Its a very believable colour - I really like it!I wasn't expecting anything dark like I'm used to, but I wasn't expecting the shade to turn out as natural as it has done!.. Its alot like my Clinque tanning lotion.Only issue was that my hands looked too dark, but I'll just use less for them next time..Overall - I would 100% buy it again. Its made my skin so smooth and the colour has a lovely healthy glow. I actually prefer this to St Tropez gradual and although I love dark tans - one coat of this is fine for me.Well done Vita Liberata - this has taken top spot for graduals for me π

I did not want to write a review at first. thought would just return it.
I had a good scrub, then moisturised my body. Applied self tan cream and in 15 minutes went to bed.I woke up feeling the smell. Got up, got angry that it is actually smelling. Quickly checked my bedsheets and was surprised to find them white. That was the first test.I run to the mirrow and thought i am too dark, so I went to have a shower to get read of the smell and colour.I washed off the top coating I guess and my tan was now amazing! All the smell was gone and I do not smell at all! Now I understand all these reviews which say you do not smell. My colour is beautiful as if just from vacation, not unnatural. no patches at all. I also have salt bath every week. I had one today and I came out brown. Its been 5 days now and tan looks perfect. Now I can definately say, all other tans skin smells. Here once washed off once, it doesnt smell at all. Skin looks beautiful.I am not your forever customer. Thank you

Quite impressed
I used to use the Clarins year round gradual tanning lotion on my legs at the start of summer until it was discontinued and so I was looking for a replacement. This got great reviews so I decided to give it a try. Overall, I'm impressed - it's easy to apply (I just do it by hand, no mitt), gives a lovely but not too full on tan and lasts a good few days. However, I do get a bit of a streaky ankle sometimes once the colour shows - easily corrected by rubbing off with damp cotton wool. Also, it does have that biscuity fake tan smell even though it claims it doesn't. So, it's not quite as good as the Clarins was in my opinion, but still happy.

Lovely colour.
I bought this after reading positive reviews -tried loads of self tans over the years and ive had some horrors! . Its colourless so that can be a bit tricky as you can't see where you've applied it . I used a latex glove as I think the mitts absorb a lot of the product . Hardly any smell when putting it on and only a very slight one after a few hours . I've got quite pale skin and it took longer than 6 hours to develop. That said it was a lovely colour and very natural looking - not too dark . I wouldn't say it was a gradual tan -usually on my skin these take 2/3 days to show but with this it was evident after 1 application . All in all a great product . Got it on offer too so even better!

Nice product
Itβs a nice product. No smell. Iβve never faked tanned before so this seemed like the perfect product. Despite using it cautiously I seemed to get lots of streaks. The colour is nice and buildable however not sure if Iβd buy it again.

Love! Love! Love!
I've never really been a massive fan of gradual tanner before, all the ones I've tried didn't give me a great colour even after just application, took ages to dry, and was quite sticky, so I stuck to a normal tanning mousse. This has changed my mind!! I've been tanning for years (and I mean years! π) as I'm a redhead, but do go a nice colour in the sun if I'm patient.. so I find tanning easier (and less harmful). Normal tanning is a big process for me... the exfoliating/moisturising dry bits/tanning/waiting to dry/wash off the excess the next day (you get the idea) so due to my health problems that can be very tiring on me, so I decided to give this gradual tanner a go, after the reviews and I'm totally glad I did!!!! πI admit I didn't exfoliate, moisturise the usual knees and elbows when I first used it, as i didn't have the energy, and I wanted to see what it would develop like.... I was amazed!! I woke up to a lovely nice natural colour. Admittedly my hands were a bit of a tell tale sign I thought (I know my hands are normally dry, and I like I said I didn't apply any moisturiser beforehand). I normally get asked if I've fake tanned (I think because I don't do it regularly, then use my normally mousse sompeople noticed a difference) but people just noticed I 'looked well' (as opposed to normally looking like death warmed up half the time because of my health) so it's a win win for me!! Little effort needed and great colour!! πππ
