Perfect for bass.
Super microphone. The 'scooped' frequency response lends itself nicely to mic up bass which is my intended use. Seems to have a tight cardioid pattern which is ideal, be sure to check positioning though and have found it's possibly better to place it a little further away from your cab, perhaps 9". As a vocal mic (not by design) gives a rich "bass and treble" boosted sound with little popping, proximity effect is surprisingly good and even. Delighted..

The best kick mic for the money
For the money, this is the best kick drum mic on the planet. Placed 12 inches in front of the front drum skin, you'll pic up amazing frequencies with no need for a sub kick mic.

even though this was expensive its now an essential part of my sound engineer set. hardly any eqing required when using, all the punch youlll ever need and the price was fair for what this mike delivers

amazing mic. bang for buck it's as good as they come. especially good for mounting right inside a bass drum. you can figure out the best sweet spot and affix an internal mount.

以前から気になってたのでポチリました。多くの方々の言う「キックマイクとしてノンEQでok」とありますが、SHURE Beta52を普段から使っている私には物足りない感じでした。比べるのも何ですが、、、 低域専用としてはまずまずだと思います。
