K&N E9289 Replacement air filter 70mm flg / 146mm B / 151mmT Od / 195mm H (E-9289)

Fitted this with ease to the Ford Ecoboost 1.6 180 BHP engine, now I have the low down torque and induction sound I wanted. Turbo also makes a satisfying whoosh on change of gears. Fuel consumption has slightly improved also. Well worth the money.

It was about time to change air filter in my car so I choose this one. The difference is obvious since the old filter was very dirty already but I think this filter gives engine more needed air at lower revs and the car sounds great. Easy maintenance and lifetime warranty convinces to replace the classic filter at the next service check.

An affordable and quick to install upgrade that’s worth every penny. My 2014 focus 1.0 EcoBoost feels smoother and more responsive with this filter installed. It also has a subtle nicer sound.

Bought to replace a paper filter, this dropped straight into the existing filter box, no need to pay for the expensive fancy (pointless?) K&N air box. I drive without the bung in, certainly makes the car louder (not what i intended but it's not a chav racer sound at least! just more throaty) and I've noticed the car is much more efficient over the last few fills. Not sure if any extra power, hard to tell, and in any case I don't use for racing so doesn't really matter. Should save money over time instead of replacing paper ones regularly.

Sounds lovely on my Focus ST even with the standard air box lid on. Had planned to get the RS lid but it's honestly not needed. Adds some nice whooshing noises.

Y’all already know it’s good. K&N have always been my to go to air filters for the car. I’d rather spend the money on something that I can maintain rather than dispose. 5/5 would recommend.

With that filter and removing the top lid on the air intake, I now get some awesome turbo noises on my Focus ST!

Habe ihn montiert im Ford Focus RS Mk3. Das ist der selbe Filter wie beim K&N Kit für 120€+, nur dass hier kein K&N Luftfilterdeckel dabei ist (den man meiner Meinung auch nicht benötigt, da der serienmäßige Deckel bereits eine teilweise offene Ansaugung aufweist und etwas mehr hermacht). Den Bypass-Deckel habe ich am Filter nicht montiert, sodass auch durch die Seite des Filters eine Ansaugung gewährleistet ist. Schönes Ansauggeräusch. Würde ich sofort wieder kaufen.

I prodotti k&n sono una certezza, il filtro si applica senza nessuna particolare attenzione a differenza di altri. Lo sto usando senza il tappo e mi piace molto il suono cupo dell'aspirazione, lo sto usando su una focus 1.6 tdci da 90cv con scatola filtro della rs. Qualità senza ombra di dubbio. lo consiglio a chi cerca un pizzico di performance in più.
