Doff 80ml Tree Stump and Tough Weedkiller (Pack of 2 Sachets)

I bought this as a strong weedkiller to kill off brambles and tough weeds. It took weeks to fully kill off the brambles but eventually they did die. Weeds were killed off relitavely quickly. Didnt try it on tree stumps but i reckon that it would work in time.

We had cut down an old diseased plum tree to a 10inch stump. Found that the stump was already rotten in the middle - big hole. Drilled some holes around this and scored the stump surface. Opened one sachet and poured the liquid into the holes and a little ran over onto the scored surface. Rain was due so I put a large plastic bag over the stump and weighted down with a brick to hopefully stop any run off killing everything around it. Now just a waiting game. I don't expect the whole thing to miraculously rot within a couple of weeks. Will be happy if it dies and doesn't grow new shoots in the Spring. It is in the middle of a large border so can let plants grow around and over it until it finally rots away, or it weakens enough to make digging out easy. Still have one sachet left for other tasks.

Bought this because its description said it could kill tough weeds etc but put it on the plants I wished to get rid off and 3 weeks later nothing has died , disappointing fortunately not expensive . Doesn't do what is says.

Does what it says on the package.

I haven't used it yet but my neighbour uses it on his garden and swears by it .His garden is immaculate no weeds .
