Great stuff
Very good quality ink. It does have a strong smell, (all Japanese inks do) but it does fade quite quickly. This one glides on and a little goes a very long way. Will but again.

Great ink for a Beginners' Calligraphy Class!
Used this ink in a kids' Japanese calligraphy beginner's class. Lasted us the whole session and bottle was a good design to help pour out small quantities of ink at a time, to make sure kids didn't use up all the ink at once or pour out more than was needed. Kids complained of a bit of a smell from the ink, but it was probably just kids being kids because I didn't notice much of a smell haha!

i bought the so-called ink in an art supply shop for my Chinese calligraphy practice, unfortunately, its not suitble, so i decided to check this product on amazon, it is reall good, exactly the ink i need!!!, really appreciates it, just a little bit smaller as this price than i thought

absolutely wonderful.
wonderful. used for drawing and calligraphy and does the job well. has the pleasant aroma that means it is genuine. a little goes a long way if you are using rice paper.

Good cheap ink!
I find it hard to find good, cheap calligraphy ink in the UK - most is very expensive or very poor ink. This is neither - decent ink a very low price point. Will definitely buy again.

Bought this instead of the traditional way of melting down an ink stick. Very handy and doesn’t leak after repeated use. Very happy.

Product was o.k.
The ink proved to be a little grainy when used but wasn' a major issue.
