So pretty. I have this on my desk as I work from home. I find myself zoning out just watching it because it's so pretty. And tranquil. The colours are amazing, works perfectly and seems good quality. Doesn't give off much light but I wouldn't expect it to. Abit on the expensive side but thought I'd treat myself

I had a lava lamp years ago & absolutely loved it & I must admit I wasn't *actually* looking for another when my standard stick with a lampshade on it bedside lamp of many moons finally gave up working - in fact I'd already put another generic lamp in my shopping basket ready to purchase but then I spotted this beauty! Well it was love at first sight & I just couldn't resist! The design...the colours...they took me right back to my younger days when I didn't fart or grunt when I got up off the sofa & could still wear heels! It was a no brainer & I couldn't wait for it to arrive! I was like a kid waiting for the ice cream van to come up the street looking out the window & checking my watch when I saw the delivery driver was just a few stops away & when they knocked on the door I was already behind it! So onto the assembly & first use - it was put together in only a few simple steps & in place in my bedroom ready to use in minutes. Once it'd warmed up & the wax started doing it's magic I was transfixed & I sat gazing in awe at it like a kid looking through the toy shop window! The colours & patterns it creates on the ceiling & walls as the wax moves are beautiful & the shapes it makes are just stunning! I'm so glad Amazon's algorithm suggested something actually useful for a change & am very pleased with my purchase! Just remember that when the wax bunches at the top your beautiful lamp needs a rest as it's become too hot so rather than writing a review stating it doesn't work properly & is rubbish etc just turn it off for a few minutes to allow it to cool down. Then once the wax has settled back down at the bottom you're ready to go again - simples!

Got this by viewing it and Amazon deciding I had purchased it! Was going to return it but decided to try it. It's Basic,Not Sure why there is a Circular Spring Ring Wedged in the Lump of Wax? It Worked for around 4 Hours, Entire Body gets very Hot to touch. All Wax Congealed at the Top and Stayed there after Hour 4! Save Your Pennies, It's a Knock Off Not - Genuine or It Would have 'Stay Cool Glass.'

Only had it 3 weeks or so, all good so far. I have read reviews of it only lasting or month or so.. but fingers crossed. Nice colour, nice sheen on the wax too. It does take just over an hour to get started but that's normal with the lamp size. Was a little worried that the contents arrived without a security seal so you know its not a returned product etc, but it is working as it should so all good for now.

Bought this lava lamp for my Grandma for Christmas as she’d always wanted one being a 60s child. Gave her it Boxing Day and has been working fine. She has switched it on this evening and it is not working. She only uses of an evening for a few hours before bed. Tried contacting the seller and there is no information available to get intouch. So for the faulty item and no contact info we are understandably very disappointed. Avoid

My boy loves this lamp. It’s lovely to look at. The glass does come off of the lamp and it does get hot (not burning) but we’ve had others that don’t bubble becuase the bulb doesn’t get warm enough. It’s a really nice brightness and a great attraction in the room. Would buy this brand again.

Came with a smashed lightbulb. No way of receiving replacement bulbs from the seller or a replacement lamp because we got the last one at a heavy discount (guessing why now)Amazon sorted a refund that covered new bulbs.
