Good quality metal ruler. Very sturdy. Small, perfect for school pencil cases and doesn't damage easily like the small plastic ones.

Useful and cheap.

A pretty good ruler, very clear numbers and a great design, nicely weighted with a nice bit of flex. The only problem is it’s super sharp edges - you could cut your fingers off if you hold it incorrectly.I suppose you could use it to cut wallpaper - insert it into the fold and whip it through - quite handy.

Bought many of these over the years. I prefer these because they have nicer writing than the other cheap metal rulers on the market, and the long edges are surface ground flat so they're good for a cutting edge. As people have pointed out this means the corners on each edge are crisp, but I don't find this to be a problem. It's not razor sharp to the point where you will cut your fingers but they do cut through packaging tape on boxes with ease.The markings on the ruler are also physically marked and filled in with black paint so the markings will last a long time. This is also true for the conversion chart on the back. Being metal I also like to just stick them all over the place with magnets.Often I will add 2 onto an order. The reason for buying 2 is that the quality control in the grinding of the 0mm spot is all over the place. Sometimes they can be ground too much which makes the measurement from the beginning incorrect by up to 2mm depending on how bad it is, and other times they aren't ground square. This is important if you need to make repeatable measurements, or accurate measurements, at least as accurate as you can be using a ruler. For £1.10 you can't complain, and you can still take good measurements easily from the 10cm mark.
