Fitted in under a minute
This was bought to help replace a Macdee Arcadia flush valve that was leaking water into the toilet pan after flushing. The product was fitted in less than a minute. When looking up the problem I was having and finding out what the unit name was I browsed a few online plumbing sites. But here's a tiny bit of advice, if you have the problem I did which as I say was that the toilet was dripping / leaking water constantly into the toilet pan post flush, then you probably don't have to replace the whole unit. You can remove the top half from the base that fits through the cistern bottom and has the overflow pipe attached by twisting it.....but here's what I found, all the sites I looked at said that for the Macdee Arcadia you should twist anti-clockwise for a quarter turn. I tried this many times going back after reading various web pages advice and really exerting a lot pressure trying to twist it off....no luck. Thanks to my wife who suggested I should try turning it clockwise, I mentioned I had tried it that way but only gently as I didn't want to damage the unit by excessive force. I felt around the base (can't see properly as the cistern is very narrow) and decided that the grooves on the Arcadia base I have only go to one side of the locking mechanism of the base unit and you guessed it, turning the top anti clockwise was never going to release it. So one slightly more determined twist CLOCKWISE and it was off....easy as pie, I could have kicked myself. On one of the sites I went to one chap had been twisting anti-clockwise and was bemused because the overflow pipe moved and prevented him turning the unit a quarter turn, it would seem to me he had been trying to turn it the incorrect way and had actually shifted the base unit. Anyway I tried cleaning the old unit up around the seal but it was still leaking so I ordered this replacement, it was fitted in less than a minute and works perfectly. Just a little extra note - the base on the Kayla replacement is slightly different to my original Arcadia base it will will allow for clockwise or anti-clockwise removal, but I just thought I'd leave this message in case you have, as I do, one of the old Arcadia bases fitted. Sorry the review is a bit long winded but hopefully it'll save you a bit of time messing about and money on plumber callout fees.

Fixed a continually running toilet
Our toilet was continually trickling water after it was flushed and I couldn’t fix it after playing around with all of the settings. I purchased this and swapped it out which was super easy and the problem stopped straight away. It has been in place for 9 months now with no issues and is fully adjustable for the amount of flush water. Very pleased - good value

Flushed with success
Our downstairs loo was beginning to make a worrying high pitched squeak when flushed. This was followed after a few days by the water just continuously running into the loo. After several attempts to see if anything was preventing the washer at the bottom of the valve was sealing, it became obvious that it was time for a new outlet valve. Since the old one was from the same manufacturer, I was hoping the new one would simply replace the dodgy valve and indeed it did. Removing the old valve and replacing it with the new one took about two minutes and was very simple to do. You can adjust (fiddle about with) the part flush and full flush water volumes by means of a couple of sliders. In our case the stem seal bit of the old unit was fine, so there was little point in changing that, hence the two minutes to fit the new valve. I was fully expecting to cause at least a small local flood since plumbing is not my forte, but amazingly not a drop of water was spilt.

A perfect upgrade to an old B&Q B208 valve
Excellent! My B&Q B208 valve has been unreliable since day one, several years ago. It finally bit the dust, and I went looking for a replacement screw-in top part, which would avoid me having to remove the cistern to fit an entire new valve unit. From my research I was hopeful that this would do the trick and it certainly has. It was a 30 second job to fit the new unit, and only a minute or so to connect the new button (helped my belated realisation that I could still mount the button flush by removing the conical bezel from it and putting the bezel inside the cistern instead of on top). It works brilliantly. I'm about to order a second one for my other loo.

Mahoosive flush button.
It looks nothing like the photo on Amazon. Mine is black and red for example. It fits well and doesn’t leak. There is a problem though / the flush button is stupidly MASSIVE. See photo
