Update: my favorite carrier for all occasions : every day, airport, even in the ocean!I’ve tried ergo, infantino, Tula, and another hip carrier, but end up using this one 99%of the time. You can use the hip carrier as a resting “shelf” for nursing your baby starting 0-3 months old. My bay, after 3 months only wanted to face out and felt restrained by other carriers. Facing out, perched on a hip carrier, supported by my hand(s) worked for her. I found myself alternating between two bulky carriers all day (a hip carrier and a baby tula explorer) and bringing both everywhere I go. I bought this one to avoid packing both carriers for travel, and I’m so happy with it ever since.It arrived quickly. It’s very cute. My baby loves it, and it’s so convenient. The top part is so easy to flip on and off, and it’s also easy to remove for washing—sometimes I wash just the top, sometimes just the seat. And I’ve gone in the ocean with it, and it air-dries super quickly (I take out the insert for laundry and drying). I love the mesh, because we live in Hawaii and my baby gets hot and sweaty in all other carriers but not this one. Love the drool protectors. And the hip position is ergonomic (baby is supported in seated position, not “hanging by the crotch”).After 4 months of daily use, the zipper on the pocket broke. I still think it’s worth every penny.

I love every aspect of the features of this baby carrier. First and foremost I love the mesh portions, I live in california and have been looking for a good priced cooling baby carrier. This ticks that box even though it *looks* bulky. All of the fabric seems light and breathable. My baby loves the bib cloths and is really enjoying them. I also love the hip carrier, the giant velcro belt, along with the big buckle. I love the way the hip carrier detached from the top half. I wish when you detached the hip carrier from the top half, there would be an optional mesh bottom so you could have a choice between the seat and the mesh carrier. I love the extra cushioned shoulder straps. I love the buckle at the top of the back and that it has its own small piece of padding to protect your back from the buckle. I love the small side pocket, I wish it was bigger and that there was another pocket on the other side big enough for a bottle or a water bottle. Overall this is the beat baby carrier for the price. It evenly distributes all the baby's weight on your hips and makes baby wearing so comfortable for the parent and the child. Incredibly worth every dollar.

Among the many baby carrier i tried, this one was the best.Pros: The seat was light weight and so comfy for baby n mother. My baby instantly got happy sitting in it.Very comfortable shoulder straps and waist belt.Very secure.Long velcro, Will fit a good ranges of bodies.Did not tug anywhere when worn for long time. Baby's thighs were not pinched at all.Cons: there is very less space for babies hands to move freely. While they are comfy facing the mother...the opposite is not true.My 6 mnth old likes to sit front facing with arms n legs flailing around. But his hands were tied because of the wide upper portion of the carrier and no space to put the arms in. His back stays very straight while front facing. My only reason to return. Sad to let it go.
