Brilliant product
Brilliant product. Used alongside the furminator shampoo for our French bulldog and the hair just kept on coming! Removed mounds of shedded hair and our dog seemed to enjoy it which is an added bonus. Highly recommended.

Best brush we own (we own many…)
Fantastic brush. We own a ridiculous number of brushes (furminator, 3 slickers, comb, undercoat rake.. so on). This brush is effective & gentle as an every day brush for our double coated dogs. Compared to other brushes: I find it works better than our slicker brushes. It doesn’t take out undercoat AS quickly as the furminator but is far more gentle & doesn’t seem to damage the top coat at all (I can run this one across my bare arm & it doesn’t scratch like others do). Who we use it on: heavy shedding dogs - a Labrador and a German shepherd cross. How they find it: My shepherd tolerates being brushed with the other brushes we own, but seems to actually enjoy this one - sometimes falling asleep while it’s being used (She doesn’t sit still when the others are being used). Wish got this brush before alllll of the other ones I purchased 💀

None of my dogs particularly like getting brushed
None of my dogs particularly like getting brushed, I thought this would be ideal for use after the FURminator de shedding comb to pick up the loose hairs left on their coats. It does work well but since I can't get my fingers through the rubber band on the top of the curry comb, I keep dropping it, as soon as I drop it the dogs are off like a shot so it takes rather a long time to get the job done. To be truthful I've gone back to a grooming glove just to smooth their coats down and save time. The cat however absolutely loves this and would let you groom him all day with it.

Amazing!
On first use - straight out of the box - removed a whole load of hair that was caught up in the coat, that's after using a slicker brush and stuff bristle brush daily for 11 months (Collie x Staffie, 7yr old). So easy to use and my little friend got very used to it really quickly - she took on that supine posture with eyes half closed, so I think its an all around winner - and so quick & easy to use. It also took me by surprise, as my first impression was that it felt a bit cheap, but on use, it's easily sturdy enough and ought to last a good long while. Delivered on time, well packaged and with frienly courtesy. Well priced item - worthy investment.

Not for my dog
Got a short hair miniature dachshund. Doesn't seem like it does anything with her coat, not removing any, so don't really understand the point of it.

Best brush EVER ! Hands down
So this arrived and I was thinking it would probably be a let down ....so very wrong ....my dog doesn't like spikey brushes..they catch and annoy...not this one....truly amazing ...simple in design yet effective...took her straight outside gave her a reassuring voice and away I went...she was in some sort of euphoric state thoroughly enjoyed her comb....no pulling no discomfort just relaxing....the hair brushes out with ease and stacks of it.....it was windy out and do the wind just blew the hair from the brush....no cleaning it off ....honestly thrilled with this brush...best of all a little freebie gift came with it...a tick remover ..thankyou that will come in handy......my dog is a lab collie cross ....she's fluffy on her back legs and tail ...this is the first brush that she has allowed me to brush under her tail !

Easy to hold and clean, well tolerated by a dog with an aversion to grooming.
Our rescue dog has always had a aversion to brushes and being groomed in generally, so much so that she would steal the brush and chew it up into little pieces to ensure it doesn't dare go anywhere near her again 🤣. The only tool I have managed to get anywhere near her was the silicon Kong zoom groom, which is fab - but I find that difficult to grip due to carpel tunnel. Seeing this reduced in the spring sale I decided to give it a go, I'm pleased to report back that this is far more comfortable for me to hold - either with the strap of just by the textured sides, most importantly my little madame is happy to be groomed with this too. I was a little worried when I saw how short the nubbins were on it, but its taken alot of loose fur off of my girl the past couple of day.

"Comfortable design with hand strap that allows for easy handling..." Wrong!
Firstly I'm afraid I'd dispute that the hand strap allows for easy handling. In fact, it's more a finger strap as I can only squeeze three of my admittedly slightly chubby fingers under the strap. Not comfortable and though I've tried a different combination of holds, it really is very unwieldy. Secondly, it's as hard as nails! Other rubber brushes I have purchased have had a degree of flexibility about them and are gentle on the dogs skin. I think if I applied the same pressure with this brush as I do with others I have, my dogs would be far from comfortable. At the same time as purchasing this (£7.99), I bought a simple rubber grooming pad (£2.59) which has a strap that can be altered to fit, is malleable and kinder to my short-haired hounds. I would normally return such a disappointing item but having used it, feel that would be unfair. Best I can do is urge caution to anyone considering purchasing it.
