Q: I’ve read not to use this on a front loader that it only works on top loaders but my drawer isn’t working if I use it will it work on front loader?

I use it in my front loader and it works fine. I bought it because my dispenser drawer is a bit dodgy (the machine is quite old!) Just fill it and put it on top of your load.

Q: can you use any softener with the downy ball

Any fabric softener works. We are using Kitkland softener and it works great.New HE machine required to use this ball for fabric softener. Works great.
