New Dog Ball Launcher Thrower With Tennis Ball, Long Handle, Great Fun For Dogs

I managed to break our old thrower a while back and we went everywhere to get a new one and each time they were rubbish as they all came with the cheap multi-coloured balls that don't last a minute in our black labs jaws! He has a tendency to pop them in the first retrieval. So we always use a proper tennis ball, and to get a new replacement thrower that would fit a real ball in was a nightmare! In the end I ordered this one as it was only £2 delivered so if useless it didn't much matter! But its brill and perfect for the job, so im well pleased as is Dexter the dog!!! I must order another one as a spare!

This product is a very poor design and should not be on sale. It does not work for its intended purpose. I was going to return to seller but as they want to charge me £2.80 postage to return I have decided not to bother and instead warn other buyers to avoid and find another thrower. Also, i woud have given 0 stars if that was an option

I can see some have said its not a good ball thrower, well I have tried it and it works fine, Great that its a shorter handle easy to carry in my bag. I definitely dont regret buying it. Plus dog is now happy I can finally throw the ball a good distance..

It’s not got a long handle but I’m short so it’ll be fine for me. The supplied tennis ball is obviously rubbish but there’s a variety of high quality dog balls if you’re after them, Amazon offer subscriptions to some so I subscribe because I don’t want the dog to swallow anything harmful from a cheap ball. It’s solid plastic but I do need to be careful because it’s got some slightly sharp edges on the throwing end but it’s never been designed as a dog chew toy so that’s not really a flaw as it was a cheap one and I got better than I expected for the money. It may surprise you how far you are able to throw using this thrower, my throws are pathetic so it’s the first time I have really made the dog run, one day I hope she’s going to bring the ball back but she’s trained as a guide dog and they don’t play with balls during their career, it’s very much a retirement gift and she’s just learning about balls. She does know she’s a fan of balls but doesn’t know what to do with them hopefully she’s going to learn with enough play. Thanks for reading

I was searching for a black throwing stick, settled for a package of two sticks, one black, the other blue, it took 10 days, and I received a bright red stick with a tennis ball.Wasn’t happy, it wasn’t worth returning it, the naff ball went into the bin, making do with the red one. C’est la vie ...

Works well for me, shorter than I thought but long enough to launch ball well over 70 meters with little effort and long enough to gather ball on the ground. Seems pretty sturdy, have used if for a couple of weeks now and no sign of weakness or weak spots.

I should have looked at the details properly. It says 'long handle' and that's what I thought I was buying, but in actual fact the length stated in the Package Dimensions is only 47cm. My old chucker, which we had for over 10 years before it sadly broke, was nearly twice as long. Very disappointed in this one - we still have to bend to scoop the ball up and can't get the same distance on a throw as with our original. Will buy a longer one and keep this as a spare.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I didn’t realise that the ball came with it. It’s Not the longest of throwers but it’s enough to get my Pug running after the ball. And what a bargain price. So glad that I bought 2 of them and would definitely buy again if I needed too!!!
