Ultra? Don't be fooled!
Good enough quality all round other than the stitching in the liner. I'm a seasoned runner and bought these as the price is very reasonable, now I know why. I certainly wouldn't be wearing these for an ultra run, I managed about 5k before the chaffing alarm bells went off. The inner lining stitching started rubbing after a couple of miles, shame as I was impressed with the general quality otherwise and the two front zipped pockets would have been a great help on longer runs for stashing gloves, buffs etc. The fit was good, I'm a 34" and bought the Medium, no complaints there. The length though, now if you know about Courtney Dewalter you'll know what I'm talking about. I'd certainly class these as 'long' shorts, pretty much down to my knees and the outer is as long as the inner so another possible chafe point if you managed more than 5k? Sorry TCA, good effort at a budget short but not for me.

Good running shorts
They do what they say. Good fit. I wasn’t sure about the 2 in 1 as I hadn’t used such shorts before. They are comfortable and the material wicks well, particularly great on a rainy day. I’ll use them a few weeks to see how the material copes and then consider ordering another pair.

Hi the material feel is great, my problem with the shorts is that the outer shorts from the compression skin is to tight and flat at the front leaving nothing to the imagination if you get what I mean. The outer short could do with being a little baggier and the short length itself being shorter. I returned the shorts back.

Needs a pocket for a phone
Very comfy and fit well, but I hadn't realised how small the zipped pocket would be. Can't fit a phone in there. TCA - Add a pocket and these shorts would be great.

Not as advertised.
There's no way any phone will fit in the pocket as is advertised. Disappointing.Also come up a little smaller that expected too.
