This is a really great product. It has super strong suction that picks up every hair and dust, and I like the heat and uv light function that provide a level of sanitation to the surface as well. The item itself is made of nice feeling hard plastic and materials which does not feel cheap to the touch at all and gives it, instead, a pleasant premium feel. Product easy to use, plug the cord and just press one button. It is a bit heavy, but it actually helps to keep the product in contact with the surface and make the uv work.Only thing I don't like is that you can't empty the dust basket without removing the filter too, making the process a bit more messy than required.All in all though, I say it is 100% worth the money if you are the kind of person who loves sleeping in a spotless bed (no hairs, no mess) - a welcome upgrade from using a lint roller.

Does the job. Collected a lot of dust. Use it on our sofa and bed. Love the lights which detects area that is high in dust.Heat function really works.Worth the money.It is slightly heavy but ok since i didn't need to press while vacuming. Its weight helps with this.Straight forward to use. Just turn on ans vacumm.

Am always a bit careful leaving review for electric things as you never know how long the product will last.I have used this twice now on my bedding. I found really useful youtube videos for how to use and also maintaining the product- cleaning etc. I was concerned about the weight but as its literally just used horizontal it doesn't present an issue. Usage is simple with 3 function. Hoover, hoover and tapping ( ie pounding the material) and uva light the function can be used seperate or all together. The uva light is activated on contact with the material when selected works on flat horizontal surface/ bedding. The heat wasn't too noticeable ie directly from vents on to the actual bedding but I did feel it generated some heat as there are side vents and these let out a bit of heat. Not sure it reaches the temperature the manufacture claim thoe. The maintaining- cleaning is very simple only criticism is the brushbar. It can be difficult to refit to the belt slightly old school design and I wasn't sure I was doing it correctly. But after watching youtube and trail and error it's now second nature that said not quite sure how this would work if it snapped or if repairs offered obviously your covered by manufacture warranty but is it classed as wear and tear? Or user error? So be careful.I had a hoover one prior and it was great but the filter wasn't replaceable and after a while I decided to upgrade to this as the filters are replaceable. I recently bought 4 filters for £20 so very affordable. Overall I would recommend this product and it's great for its intended purpose or even if you have small carpets or rugs .I haven't had any issues with the lead that's similar to a lead you plug into a kettle. Mentioning as others felt it came loose. It hasn't been issue for me.

This seemed pricey for what it was even after a discount but I am now convinced that it is actually good value. It is well made and weighty which is useful because this is a powerful vacuum and certainly not a toy. We used it on our mattresses to remove dust and hopefully mites. Even though we had already vacuumed with a floor vacuum extension this unit pulled off a lot of fine powder dust which I am suspicious is actually mites. No idea if the heat or UV are effective but just the vacuum alone makes it a worthwhile addition to our household and the beds will now be done every week. If you think you need one you are probably right.

Received today, cleaned my mattress, mattress protector, sheets, pillows, sofa, very impressive, picked up fine dust, even used the machine to clean my hand made rugs, it did a very good job in no time at all, very easy to take apart for cleaning, comes with a small cleaning brush and spare filter cap, good 5 metre cable, easy to store away in a small cupboard, I will probably use it once a week for my mattress and bedding, furniture, rugs, just a warning, it’s a little on the heavy side so don’t expect to use vertically if you have weak wrists for one reason or another, very happy with purchase, I would recommend.

I had so much hope that the Jimmy would be better than my cordless Samsung (which is great), especially as it is supposed to work with heat, too.I live in a very dusty area, could dust 10x a day. My sofa gets vacuumed regularly but not as thoroughly as today. I vacuumed half with my Samsung and the other half with the Jimmy (I sooo wanted it to be better), I took the sofa cushions out of their covers to make it as easy as possible to get as much dust out as possible. They are really deep feather pillows and always dusty, no matter how well I shake/vacuume them.Most of the dust is from the pillows. I was so disappointed. After vacuuming I went outside to shake the pillows, both were still so dusty. To be fair the Jimmy did slightly better but not a lot.There was also no warmth/heat on the vacuumed area, something I would expect if 60°C touched it enough to kill anything inside the mattress/sofa.Sadly, for me it is not as described and will go back.If you have a vacuume cleaner that's not very powerful, then the Jimmy would be a good choice, if you already have a good vacuume, safe money and spend it on something else.
