Great if you use it right!!
I used this inside a 20x40 cook chamber in an offset smoker. 1st picture is it sitting in the pit. Weighs about 20 lbs, very sturdy. Definitely has nonstick coating over cast iron. Watched youtube videos about nonstick/ceramic griddles. Learned important stuff. Keep temps medium, like you would any nonstick pan. I put it over 1.5 chimneys of briquette charcoal and it got hotter than I even expected it to. Even heat, tremendous heat retention. It stayed hot enough to cook on for well over an hour. No warping, no peeling. I cooked 4 burgers and mushrooms as a test run. Came out awesome. Picture 2 is during cook. Picture 3 is burgers pushed to side jut to melt cheese. You can have a cooler spot if you leave an end over part with no charcoal. Took 4 minutes/side then about 90 seconds to melt cheese.Another tip from videos: only use silicone/nylon utensils. Pit Boss makes a nice set for under $40 on Amazon. Steel utensils may scratch the nonstick. May not, but I don’t want to chance it. The silicone stuff worked great. The no stick surface performance was excellent. Cleanup was incredibly easy. Only challenge was waiting long enough for it to cool. Picture 4 is after just using a nylon scraper to push stuff into grease trough (youtube hack: put paper towels in grease trough and it makes cleanup even easier. When it was just warm to the touch I wiped it with a paper towel and it looked like it just came out of the box (picture 5). That was all I did to get it to look like that, wiped it with a paper towel. You can wash it like a pan if you need to. No need to season, you can wash it with disb soap, it’s strong and sturdy. Great non stick, even hear with greatheat retention. I think the negative reviews either got lemons or there was user error. Excellent option to convert a charcoal pit to a griddle, and good alternative to the rolled steel griddle tops (which are also awesome when used properly) because if the nonstick. Super easy cooking and cleaning. I recommend. Especially if you take a little time to educate yourself on how best to use this type of surface

Perfect for Big Breakfasts and More!
The media could not be loaded. This griddle is exactly what I needed! It fits nicely across my stovetop and gives me plenty of space to cook multiple things at once — perfect for making pancakes, bacon, eggs, and even grilled sandwiches. The surface heats evenly and food doesn’t stick, which makes cleanup super easy. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the side handles make it easy to move around. If you're cooking for a family or love hosting brunch, this is a total win!

The perfect flat top for your grill.
Works great and eliminates the need for a Blackstone if you have a regular grill. Fits right on top of the grates and works great. Wish I would’ve bought one of these along time ago. Even heat distribution and clean up is quick and easy. Only drawback is that it’s really heavy but it needs to be to do what it does so perfectly.

Too small but works great
It’s great overall. WAAAAY SMALLER than i expected it to be . Easy to clean as well. I would’ve preferred it to be bigger so i can cook more on it . But i will have to use this one until i can afford a bigger one

Turned good grill into excellent griddle
Got this about 3 months ago after getting a Blackstone griddle at other location. I find griddling is so much better than grilling for so many reasons. Top reason is ability to cook breakfast foods plus lunch and dinner steaks, burgers and just about anything you put in a pan. This does everything a larger Blackstone cast iron flattop does, except it is non-stick. In that sense, only wooden or rubberized tip tools are used. Only 1 scratch when a metal tool was accidentally used. Clean up requires more active soaking up grease with paper towels than the Blackstone as the front grease tray becomes super hot and causes oil splatter. I prefer this to the Blackstone because of the easy cooking, excellent browning without sticking and no seasoning needed to get started. I do add some oil after each use just as on the cast iron flattop. This eliminates rusting and drying of the surface.

Space savings on your deck.
This fit perfect on my already existing grill. Perfect for the person who does not have the space for several separate styles of grills. It is very easy to clean and cooks evenly with my grill burnings.

Quality good
Measure carefully and you can get a perfect fit . Turning the bbq into griddle was best move. Cleaner, faster cooking, more even heat distribution. Will see how long non stick lasts, but so far looks like a well made griddle plate
