Could be better
As a seamstress by trade, I have had many pairs of expensive scissors and shears over the years but after reading some good reviews on these, I decided to bite the bullet and try them. In terms of value for money, and general use you cant go wrong. They work and they work well easily cutting neatly through multiple layers. They are however a little stiff to use so if you suffer with any kind of hand pain or weakness, these arent for you. I also experienced sore knuckles after a long stint using these o es because the holes for the fingers arent quite as large as the more expensive versions meaning with each snip my knuckles were rubbing against the handle. After an hour or so my hands were red raw. This is the only reason for 3 stars. In terms of actually working, 5 stars all around.

Great scissors worth the price but snipers awful
Main scissors are lovely. Very nice weight and cuts through 2 layers beautifully. The snips that came with it to be honest aren't very good as blades overlap and don't cut thread. If it had been just the scissors would have been 5* however the price I paid was good value just for the scissors so would order again.

Good value for money.
For the price, these Dressmaking Pinking Shears are very good value. I have tested them on several different types of fabric and In use, so far, there is no snagging, which I have found to be a problem in the past with certain types of fabric. They feel sturdy in the hand and comfortable to hold. I look forward to being able to use them for many years to come.They arrived on time, and were packaged in a very neat box with the Snipper.

Clean cutting
These pinking shears are sharp, and cut evenly.. I find them a bit uncomfortable but I believe that’s because I have very small hands.

Really great at first...stiffening slightly with use.
I am constantly searching for great pinking shears as I make rag wreaths for Christmas. I was thrilled with theses for the first three wreaths, but they are now stiffening like all my others! Love to know the fix for this! 😢😢😢
