Aveda Men Pure-Formance Care Clay

Really like the texture and smell of this product. I have used cheaper products before, but there is something about Aveda that gives off a better quality. You don’t need to use a lot, so it lasts a long time.

I have fine hair which turns a little fluffy after a shower. Using this Aveda hair paste is so easy and effective. A few small dabs on each hand and then I can place and style my hair in seconds. It provides a good hold but not so much that it either looks or feels too much. Aveda make very good products and this one is up there with the best of them. Highly recommended if you want your hair to stay put and not look fluffy.

This clay smells, applies and looks bloody awesome. You'll have all manner of woodland creatures chatting you up, asking where you obtain that luscious smelling scent from. You'll walk about like you sleep in a bed of lemons and other fruit that have a mildly appealing scent. It's not overwhelming, but every now and then you'll get this whiff of... 'yep, I smell like a boss' When travelling through an airport, I was stopped at security, and the security man wanted to take a sample of it for testing. He opened it up, smelled it, gave me that raised eyebrow of approval to note he sensed I was a man of good taste, and apologised for having to waste even a smidge of it for his machine. I really like this product. The smell is nice, and the hold is fantastic leaving your hair looking like it has no product in. No shininess or stickiness. I wouldn’t buy anything else now.

I have been searching for a good hair product for months now, I have thin medium straight hair and everything that I had previously used would only hold my style for a short while then it would fall flat. This product holds my style all day and allows me to re-work if needed. Although this is a great product at £20 it would probably put many people off buying it if your comparing it to your standard products on the market which are usually around £5.

Probably the best product I've used (and I've used a lot) that claims a "matte finish", this actually does and you basically can't tell its in my hair, good hold too, one thing to mention is the smell, a lot of reviews here mention how good it smells, I personally think its ok smelling but nothing special so don't buy on that premise, it doesn't smell bad, it's just not as amazing as reviewers make out, for what it does in your hair (which is my main reason for buying), I am impressed, nice amount in the tub so should last a good amount of time, so for me, worth the money.

Purchased for a friend. He’s delighted and had many compliments on the fragrance of his hair. Uses it everyday and as it’s such good quality it will last ages. Great hold. I’m a stylist so don’t just buy any old product. Aveda aren’t tested on animals.

Einfach das Beste für die Haare, ich verteile es im trockene Haar, hier denkt man anfangs, dass es klebrig ist aber das Haar lässt sich dann gut kämmen oder stylen. Es hält den ganzen Tag und wenn man sich durch die Haare fährt klebt das Haar nicht zusammen und auch die Hände werden nicht klebrig. Es lässt sich super auswaschen, da hatte ich schon Probleme mit Sandcreme oder diverse andere Kleister die selbst mit Haarwaschmittel nicht zur Gänze rausgingen. Der Geruch erinnert an Natur - ist aber nach dem einarbeiten fast nicht mehr wahrnehmbar. Die Haare bekommen keinen Glanz oder Nasseffekt - es sieht alles natürlich aus. Ich hatte schon echt viele Produkte probiert, doch dieses ist einfach Top. Man kommt wirklich lange aus deswegen finde ich den Preis gerechtfertigt.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My salon changed to a new product line and I just don’t like it as much as this Aveda product! Works great on short hair to give a moldable but strong hold. Best thing I like about this product specifically is it keeps your hair feeling soft and doesn’t leave that weird residue on your hair.

Es un cera muy suave de peinado. Muy poca fijación, yo la uso en cabello largo para controlar el encrespado. Poco más.
