iPad Pro 9.7 (2016 Model)

Firstly, a little background regarding myself. I am a massive Apple fanboy, have a MacBook Pro, iPhone 6s, TimeCapsule, Apple Watch, iPad Pro 9.7' and Apple TV. I always buy directly from Apple, even for things like covers etc. Due to things being a bit tight lately, I was unable to spend the amount Apple are asking for an iPad case (in the region of £60'ish) Therefore I had no option but to look elsewhere for a solution. I stumbled across this product and took the time to read the reviews as I am highly sceptical of cheap knock off's. I was surprised to read so many positive reviews about this product and as a result was tempted to give one a go. Much to my surprise was I presented with a case that is absolutely fantastic! The quality is beyond expectation, feels great in the hands and has all the cut outs required exactly in the right places. It even turns the iPad on and off when you lift and close the cover. This is a fantastic cover and I would highly recommend one to anyone looking for such a product, you will not be disappointed.

I bought a more expensive, well-known brand first and was disappointed with the bulky size (what's the point of a really slim iPad in a huge case?) so decided to try an alternative. This case is ideal, it's very slim so doesn't add much bulk to the iPad, it's light and functional. It is "smart" so it switches off the iPad when closed. It seems fairly well made but only time will tell if the materials are resilient. The iPad fits neatly and securely and so it's pretty well protected for a case of this type. All in all, it is an excellent product for the price and I would highly recommend it.

Bought the JETech as a replacement for an Apple Smart Cover which had become very worn. The JETech has a hard plastic back cover with cut outs for the ports, speakers and buttons overall the cover fitted well and sleep mode actin ion is good. The thinks I don’t like are Access to the buttons, the cut out around the power button makes is difficult to operate also the top section cut out was very thin approximately 1mm thick, this section failed and broke off within 3 weeks. On 2 of the corners small sections of the hard plastic have cracked and then broken off. Given the failures I would recommend

After 2.5 years use I’ve renewed my jtech cover on my iPad 9.7” pro. The other one was still good but one corner was cracked and I’m not sure if it qualifies as protective any more. Like bike helmets.....sensible to buy a new one after a drop! The new one is identical in quality but a whole £2 cheaper than in early 2017. Amazing! I love these covers. Less than a quarter of the price that Apple charge for theirs and perfectly adequate quality. I had an Apple case for a previous iPad and it was no better quality. I find these benefit from a good clean up regularly. I take the iPad out and give everything a good wipe. I tend to get the felt part a bit greasy in the place where it rests on my hand, but this restores to like new with a damp cloth with a drop of washing up liquid. Very very happy with this latest purchase. The photo is of the one I’m now discarding after 2.5 years protection of my precious iPad...... bottom left corner is the damaged part.

While there are many cheap iPad cases out there, I've come back again to this case for my iPad Pro as the first one I got for my other iPad (mini 2) served me so well over the last few years. The material has a pleasant feel and good grip, and adds a bit of softness that I feel is necessary to be comfortable holding any tablet for extended periods of time. It cleans up very easily, as I've had need to do a couple times over the years, and my mini 2 looks as good as the day I bought it. The magnetic stand is every bit as sturdy as the Apple smart cover, which I owned at one point and moved to this case to get full protection front/back as well as the softer material mentioned above. For this price, I can't recommend it highly enough. I'm not really a case guy for most of my electronics, but for both my iPads, the case made it more comfortable to hold, still looks great, and in the mini's case has held up very well over years of use.

I bought this case to replace my very used and broken Zcover iPad Pro case unfortunately this is no longer available. I was getting desperate for a case that I liked and was quit slim and not bulky like most cases, this ticked all the boxes and seems a good case so far for the short time that I have used it, what I don’t like about this case is that the speaker grills and buttons are exposed however they are still protected as they are recessed into the case so it’s not a problem, to put on a positive spin on the uncovered buttons it does make it easier to find. I hope now that the case will live up to the test of time like my zcover did but this was over a £30 and this one is about £9 so to compare it, is unfair but for £9 you will just replace it. The coating on the cover is lightly rubberised so great for keeping a good grip I. Your hand on an expensive gadget. Overall it’s very good and I’m pleased with it.

Very simple case which is light and comfortable to hold. It looks stylish and sleek, and the iPad simply clips into the back panel. It feels firmly held in place and the flip-over front cover is felt lined to protect the screen. All the holes for buttons and camera are in exactly the right place. I'm not sure how much protection this would offer if the unthinkable happened and I was to drop it, but I prefer the slimline design over bulkier, heavier cases that would protect the item more. Delivery took 5 days with Royal Mail. I would recommend this product, its a good case at a great price

Not bad for the price paid but.. the hard cover has no lining and it sits flush with with glass of the IPad (Apple original covers give a lip to protect the edge of the iPad) however the worst bit is the awful smell of the cover, it smells of rotten fish when I hold the cover my hands stink from holding it. Seriously contemplating putting my old Apple cover back on even though it is falling apart as at least I won’t smell like a fishmonger.

Da die Apple-Preise für das Smart Case und Smart Cover mittlerweile auch den hartgesottensten Apple Fanboy mürbe machen, und die Cupertino-Crew für das Pro nicht das selbe SmartCase aus feinem Leder hinkriegt, greife ich für den Nachfolger meines iPad Air2 zu Drittanbietern. Die hier gekaufte Hülle von JETech bot sich an, weil ich mich noch nicht endgültig zwischen zwei drei hochwertigen Hüllen entschieden habe und das iPad nicht ungeschützt herumtragen möchte. Der erste Eindruck ist positiv. Die Hülle sitzt wie angegossen, sieht gut aus, macht das iPad nicht unnötig dick. Alle Öffungen sind da, wo sie hingehören. Lobenswert ist die Größe der Öffnung für den Kopfhörerstecker. Der ist bei der Lederhülle fürs Air2 so knapp, dass ein handelsüblicher Stecker nicht ganz hineingeht und man einen sehr schlanken Stecker braucht. Die Haptik ist, was die Oberfläche angeht, recht angenehm. Allerdings wirken die Kanten der Abdeckung etwas scharfkantig und unangenehm. Die Sleep/Wake-Funktion arbeitet zuverlässig. Die Faltung ist der des Apple Cases nachempfunden, was dem Look gut tut. Außerdem steht das iPad beim Aufstellen in den Videomodus stabil. Das Fehlen des Stifthalters wird der Pencil-Benutzer bemängeln. Ich auch. Aber wie gesagt, ist diese Hülle bei mir nicht für die Ewigkeit gekauft. Was die Haltbarkeit betrifft, kann ich nach wenigen Tagen Nutzung aktuell noch nichts sagen. Aber Aussehen und Handhabung sind gut. Die Cons werden durch das Pro des Preis-/Leisungsverhältnisses mehr als aufgewogen. Daher volle 5 Sterne. Nach gut zwei Jahren ein Update: Nach und nach lösen sich die oft angefassten Kanten auf. Das sieht ziemlich unschön aus und lässt sich auch nur schwer und nicht nachhaltig kleben. Deshalb habe ich mir die gleiche Hülle jetzt nochmal gekauft. Vielleicht hätte die Lifetime-Warranty geholfen. Leider habe ich den Kauf 2017 nicht registriert. Mein Fehler. Deshalb kein Sterneabzug. :(
