![The Expendables 3 [DVD] [2017]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81EF2-WRAJL.jpg)

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team come face- to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill... or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables, but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet. Starring the Ultimate Action Cast: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Kellan Lutz, Kelsey Grammer, MMA star Ronda Rousey, welterweight boxing champion Victor Ortiz, and Glen Powell.

The banter and dynamic between the people is the best so far.
Really like this movie - love the team in this franchise - could watch randy and terry buddy up and beat people all day. I feel some reviews have been a little harsh so wanted to add my opinions to this balance. Some under reported contributions to this film are Kelsey Grammer and Antonio. Kelsey's banter and dialogue with Sly during their scenes is great. Kelsey and Sly pull off a real natural feel and make the intro to the team special Antonio is flat out not annoying - as I have seen some comments suggest - outside the 'annoyance' of his chatter that his character is meant to have. He is mad, hilarious and passionate offering an interesting polarity to the other action character presentations. They should bot be in further sequels! The general banter between the guys gets better with each film. It's joyful to hear and for this I think the script is clever - its tailored to each actor's character history and the ones they are most comfortable with. Harrison and Mel both performed great roles as you'd expect, but its the fun they both deliver it with!I don't like the lack of blood. The 12A was a mistake. The first one was by far the most tightly directed and edited for visceral, gritty action that made it larger than the 'big' action scenes of the sequels. I missed not seeing Randy and Terry do close combat. The new team are growing on me with each view, though I was disappointed at first view, only because of my former statement. The extended cut has some good extra scenes and is worthwhile watching. The gag reel shows just how much fun and banter this team has on set.

"Get into the CHOOOOOPER"
With this being the third instalment of the Expendables, I found it to be almost as good as the original. It’s a far stronger and more believable story Line that Expendables 2, with none of the actors taking themselves too seriously and through that approach, seriously parodying their own famous characters. I laughed almost every time “Arnie” opened his mouth, every single one of his films was encapsulated in this role. Pretty much the same can be said for the rest of the characters. Even seeing Wesley Snipes, looking very unhinged was priceless. If you want to see a film that’s easy on the mind, funny, action packed and visually quite stunning, then this is for you. Even better if you can view it in HD, a very good film to watch on a rainy day or public holiday.

Great escapist fun
Does exactly what it says in the tin! Stallone being Stallone, guns, bombs and cheesy lines, don't expect great acting from the likes of Ronda Rowsey, but it is as you would expect and worth a watch for any action fan!

Good film could be better
Having seen the first two (both of which i loved) this one for me was looking to keep that trend going. i was hoping it wasn't a let down like in other movie franchises where two out 3 were good but the third was just rubbish (like the godfather trilogy - everyone i know says 1 & 2 are the best the third is just rubbish).so i never saw this in the cinema i just bought it on DVD and i was blown away by how good it was it had the usual elements of the first two films impossible rescue missions, unlimited ammo and huge explosions.I was also surprised by the "new team" thought they added something to the movie now just another load of actors filing up space in the movie. this did have the feel of could do better of few times for me though like one point a RPG (rocket propelled grenade) is fired and lands feet from Stallone's character yet doesn't kill or injure him. he does fall of a bridge into a river but again survives despite hitting his head on several rocks as he's rushed downstream in the river. yet next scene he's made it he was washed up on low bank only to be found by Mel Gibson's hench men. where he pulls out a gun (which has been in water) and just shoots 5 people. this is good for the film as i did like it but in real life he wouldn't have made it off the bridge with the RPG hitting so close to him.the scene where Caeser gets injured is puzzling to me as well when he gets shot the bullet wounds look like hit his leg and hip yet the next scene it's his chest. i might be wrong but it did look like he was hit elsewhere on his body. All in all a enjoyable film for people who enjoy the Unlimited ammo & explosions shoot um up's. I hope there's a fourth on the way.

Fast Action
The Expendables are a fast action full on anything goes but I think it needs to be updated with younger actors that would suit the roles better. No offense meant guys but your ages are starting to show and bodies are starting to show they need repairing. I have a hell of a lot of movies with these guys but there comes a time when it starts to change our opinion and I would rather remember them as they where than not now showing their age. I will still buy movies regardless comedy drama and family because they can still give a performance and deliver. I rated this an A grade as the cast did a fantastic job and the storyline is great. Story unfolds that the old enemy is still among us and living so the old blood is being replaced with young blood to tackle the problem with high tech expertise. Action is there suspense and the high dives of excitement so what are you waiting for the encore, sorry that's it for now, need I say anymore the collecting of the show and popcorn will come in handy for a relaxing night in with fabulous entertainment that is waiting for you with Stallone, Statham and the rest of them ready to keep you amused tonight. Enjoy!
