This is a solid bit of kit and all the clutchs work very well holds 8kg air gun ferm.

The head itself is very well made and seems to be good quality materials, time will tell. This was purchased for use in an application away fromPhotography and would have hit the 5 stars had it come with the reducer grub screw/insert for the attaching thread.

I own a few variations of this tripod head from different brands. Whilst I do own a couple of Manfrotto tripods and several Manfrotto poles, I see no reason pay a premium for the brand name tripod heads as this does everything I need.It will hold cameras and accessories and is easy to move around to get into the position you want.Recommended.

I really like this tripod adaptor, with it's quick release dove tail and 360° horizontal turning feature.

I'm extremely impressed by the quality of the Beike ball heads, to the extent that I own three now. I pair two of them with heavy duty tripods to support a 6.5kg dslr slider, which they hold easily without any play in either the ball joint or quick release plate at any orientation. The other supports my dslr capably during the slider movements. The action of all the components is very smooth with satisfying resistance and I expect they will remain this efficient for many years to come. The female thread on the base is 3/8".The bubble meter is a nice addition to aid in levelling, as is the loop attached to the screw in the quick release plate that helps secure the camera firmly. I like the addition of printed bearings in degrees on the rotating shaft as this is useful when working out panning arcs with motorised gear.The Beike is a quality item and represents excellent value for money

Overall the unit is 'Pretty good' If it worked exactly as it's meant to? It'd be perfect! But it doesn't... at least for me. The bottom dial that is meant to make it easy to take panoramas opens fine but turning the unit once undone is jerky and far to hard to be classed as 'Smooth'. Secondly the part you screw into the camera is really really bad. Not the actual base but the screw... The part that flips out lets you turn it with your fingers didn't flip down correctly on my unit making it impossible to attach it to the base. I had to remove it entirely just to make the base be able to fit the unit. So basically I have to carry a screw driver around with me just to attach this to the bottom of my camera.. what is beyond annoying to say the least. Last point is the two dials that control how hard it is fixed in place are overall quite pretty good but when you tighten it, it moves the camera every so slightly.. annoying but not too bad.Overall this product is pretty good but I expected a whole lot more.. Build quality for the most part is very good.
