Vinyl Kettlebell

These are great as I have bought 2 sets for the wife to use

I would recommend this set of kettlebells to anybody looking to start out. The 2kg is a perfect starting weight for beginners, although it was too light for me use so i went straight to the 4kg & its great to already have the heavier weights there for you to progress to, rather than having to go out and buy seperate ones which would cost a lot more than these four together! I found them comfortable to use, even with them being rounded and they don't get too slippery with sweaty hands. I also purchased Bob Hapers sculpted body kettlebell workout with these which is brilliant and gives an amazing workout. The only negative i can give is that they are round and have no curve to fit your arm when doing cleans. This isn't too much of an issue though if you have the correct lifting form and don't let them bang off your arm! All in all, a 5 star review!

These bells are an incredible value and do the job. However, having done Kettlebell exercises for the last 6 weeks, I now understand a little more about the equipment than I did when I first bought these. If I was to buy a set again, I would be looking for slightly smaller bells and perhaps a countoured bell as these look much more comfortable and easier to use. However, I have got these now so will continue to use; like I said they get the job done, just a little awkward on some moves. Edited: 12th June 2013 after some time using these bells I have to say that 2, 4 and 6kg bells are ok to use but the 8kg bell is way too bulky making it difficult to grip and swing around, also the handle is very thick which makes it tricky to grip firmly. In fact I find it very hard to exercise with this one so will be buying a new 8kg bell from Reebok which is smaller and cast iron with easy grip handle. The lower weight vinyl ones are not as bulky as 8kg so still ok to use and good value for money.

A good value set when comparing similar products. Vinyl covering means great to use indoors and on solid floors.

I wasn’t sure whether to purchase this as the reviews were a bit mixed - I have not used kettlebells before so wanted something inexpensive to have a go with. I only got a 2kg one (I am a petite female) but am really pleased with it. I find it comfortable to hold either one or two handed and it is not too big. It came the day after I ordered it and includes a leaflet in the box with some basic exercises, I’ve also just been following some joe wicks 15 minute workouts on YouTube which are good for beginners. Intend to order the 4kg one next when I’ve built up my strength a bit.

The material feels good and is good quality but it is too large in size and the handle is too thick and does not feel good in the hands. It does its job and gets the workout done but I wouldn't recommend.

Since having a baby I haven't had time to exercise and quite frankly i couldn't be bothered but seriously needed to shift the extra baby pounds after 12 months of sailing by with gradual weight loss plus i'm getting married in a few months and needed something to kick start the weight loss again.. My finance also wanted to join in so we bought this set so we could work out together and work our way through the weights, we also bought a well know kettleball 6 week challenge DVD and we have never looked back, after the first week we both feel so much better and the lbs are starting to drop off. I know this review is directly about these kettleballs but what can i say? they look good and weigh what they say and easy to handle, the point i'm trying to make that is with regular exercise you don't feel like you've had much of a work out unless you push yourself for ages. With kettlebells you do a 30 minute workout (whilst baby naps) and your done and you actually feel and sweat like you've done a full body workout. So i would recommend these to anyone who doesn't have much time but wants to see results and this set of kettlebells is a great place to start
