This is an excellent deodorant. Great smell and not overpowering. Have been using this product for 15 years and wouldn’t change to anything else. Gentle on skin and long lasting protection.

TLDR: Great product which doesn’t smell of chemicals and is natural.I first bought this from a large well known chemist and cosmetic store on a whim as I don’t like the idea of applying antiperspirants to open pores such as after I’ve shaved or waxed but also don’t want to risk smelling in hot weather.This took a bit of getting used to as when you stop using antiperspirants after long term use, you may find you seem to sweat more. This is probably psychological as you’ve gone from nothing to letting your body breathe (quite literally), but after a few days it appears to find an equilibrium and settle down. Now this product doesn’t stop you sweating - it stops the sweat from smelling.Given that I was initially sweating more than I was used to after suddenly cutting back on the antiperspirants, I was unsure of how long I would last. As it happens i managed about a week then realised that everything had settled and my body wasn’t sweating as much at all - instead of fighting the antiperspirants to remove toxins from my body via my pores, it was allowed to do its thing and settled down.So - i have carried on using it and have actually converted 2 others into using it after I bought them one to try.It’s great for using when you’ve showered or bathed and don’t want to apply deodorant or antiperspirant but also don’t want to smell, such as bed time. It’s great as this has such a mile smell to it that it’s not noticeable but if you lifted your arms and sniffed it’s got such a delicate smell that smells fresh and clean and not sweaty - brilliant.I feel much happier now using this knowing I’m not blocking my pores, lymph glands nor using chemicals on sensitive or broken skin.Would highly recommend trying it and sticking with it past the first few days which may seem somewhat uncomfortable regarding your body sweating. Perhaps an ideal time to try this product is when the weather is cooler and therefore you are less likely to sweat, that way as the weather warms your body can adjust.

I like the original Pitrok and for me it works, but if I use it for too long, it ends up making me sore, I don't think my skin likes the salts. Other 'natural' deodorants I have tried have proven to do very little and I'm always left with a certain aroma after a couple of hours. Doesn't bother me in the least, but people tend to start running from me fast for some reason.This is the only 'natural' deodorant that works for me. Each bottle lasts me and my pits for about 3 months. If I am not being particularly active, one morning application lasts for most of the day, by next morning it's effect has worn off quite a lot but still giving some protection. If I am being active, I definitely will need to reapply to appease those who do not find my BO as fabulous as I do, damn olfactory fascists.The smell is lovely - a lot stronger than I was expecting. It is a heady, rich perfume that is neither too floral, soapy or woody. Smells MUCH better than any deodorant I can remember trying, and doesn't smell like 'cheap scent'. But for those used to original Pitrok it may come as a bit of a surprise how strong it is.Also I don't like using stuff that contains ingredients with more than 10 syllables. Sadly Pitrok misses it by one syllable!....In all seriousness, I wouldn't call this a 'natural' type product. I like that it's vegan and free of some of those common dubious ingredients, but the Pitrok brand is associated with 'uber natural' and 'pure' - this isn't, this is part of their 'broadening-our-buying-demographic' range. That's fine for me, I still like it and will buy, and does have a lot of natural ingredients in. But some of the reviews I've seen seem a little confused. It's really a broad alternative to some of those common ingredients a lot of us try to avoid.

I initially loved this deodorant. It was effective, lasted, and smelled good. It really worked, too - until it didn't. It's almost like my body became immune to it; after 4 months, it simply stopped being effective any more, irrespective of whether I was working out, or just sitting in my car driving between clients.

This is the first time I have used a roll on deodorant for years. It is more expensive than other roll ons, but having used it for a number of weeks, it is worth the money.Rolls on easily, lovely fragrance, dries fairly quickly, leaves me smelling fresh all day long.

I bought this on the back of thinking about my health and the damage I could be doing by using conventional aerosol anti-perspirant deodorants. I read the reviews and took a chance on this product. I'm glad I did. This product works well and is effective under the strain of a very long day at work and exercise. It has a very subtle fragrance and dries quickly after application with no horrible white marks on clothing or snow-like residue everywhere which can happen with conventional aerosols. I even convinced my husband to try the more masculine equivalent of this product. He's a baker so works in very hot conditions but also goes out running and does a lot of exercise. The effect of the crystal roll-on was comparable with any other product he'd ever tried, and all with the realisation that you're not harming your body or blocking your pores. A definite purchase from now on. Go on, give it a try.
