There are 4 control buttons, tv, cbl, dvd and an "AUX" buton that may work with a sound bar. I don't use a sound bar, so I can't be 100% sure.

Does it work on Emerson?

This little Universal Remote is surprisingly sophisticated, yet simple to use, and easy to program. If you have a perfectly good piece of equipment that's missing its remote, this is your go-to replacement. I can't say enough about it: It's worth its weight in gold. Personally, I use it for my Samsung Blu-ray player, and it works beautifully...it exceeded my expectations.
