Perspi-Guard Maximum Strength Antiperspirant Spray 50 ml, 1-Pack, Strong Deodorant for Excessive Sweating & Hyperhidrosis, Anti Sweat Spray, Unscented

Well, I do get excessive sweating under my armpits and have tried all sorts of products in the antiperspirant line from sprays to roll-ons. None ever worked. I would sweat alot for no particular reason during the day at work in a fairly warm environment. I read positive reviews on this product and decided to get it about 4 months ago. I was fairly dubious about the effectiveness but i decided to bite the bullet and purchase anyway! Low and behold, my underarm sweating has drastically reduced. The level of comfort this product brings is understated. Everyday i would have to hold my arms down by my side or show giant wet patches of sweat on shirts/t shirts and wearing anything other than black t shirts was a nightmare and the level of moisture caught in the area sticks and doesn't tend to go away making it extremely uncomfortable. Since using the product, i have gone more confident about what i wear because i know i will be protected from excessive sweating. This product is almost a miracle cure for what it does. I cannot believe this isn't a more mainstream readily available product. I have tried to apply this product at varying times and situations. Their claim that this only tends to work at night appears to hold up. It does work if you apply in the morning but nowhere near as effective as when applied at night - do not apply this in the morning unless you really need emergency and immediate protection because it will not be as good. I have also found that the more you apply, the more effective and longer this will last (without sounding like stating the obvious too much) I would spray 5-6 times on each underarm which will allow me 3-5 days protection though you can feel by the 5th day, this gradually loses it's hold, it still stops the sweating. I have also found that showers and shower gels do not seem to effect the product and in fact if you have regular morning showers, it seems to boost the effectiveness compared to not washing under arms (I am not sure how this works but it definitely does for me) In terms of the level of protection, it is not completely perfect but near enough. I would say for the first day, my under arms are generally bone dry. The second day usually has the same outcome. Day 3-5 you generally notice a little more moisture with each passing day but still enough to feel comfortable (I used to sweat bucket loads and felt drops of sweat dripping from under my arms and i have never experienced a single drop of sweat since using Perspi Guard) The moisture experienced during the dying days of the product is more of a slightly sticky moist feeling rather than constant dripping sweat so even in the 5th day although the protection wears off, it's still protecting you from that massive sweat loss and keeps it to a minimum In terms of side effects, I have never experienced any stinging, pain or discomfort that others have experienced but then i don't tend to shave under my arms anyway. Generally the stuff will dry into a very sticky feel when first applied at night. Although not painful or particular discomforting, it feels extremely sticky under the arms for the first few hours which then quickly disappears upon awakening from sleep. Once the morning comes and you wash under your arms, you do not feel the product there of the sticky sensation at all. Overall i couldn't be happier with this product and wish i found out about this earlier and still trying to perfect the best way of applying it - when and how much for effectiveness and a cost saving element. I have used a full bottle in about 4 months (and possibly used more than i even needed to) and currently just on my second bottle now. The 50ml bottle usually hovers around the £8 - £12 mark so works out at £2 per month based on my usage which is amazing. I always use this product in conjunction with a deodorant as deodorants do not interfere with the product and would say that Perspi-guard is the most important product i have ever had and always rely on this to protect me from underarm sweating. Rarely have i reviewed a product on amazon but felt that people needed to know that this product is that good and urge anybody else who suffers from excessive underarm sweating to try this stuff and it doesn't even break the bank.

After using this antiperspirant for a while I can confidently say that I can’t go back to any other deodorants. When I applied it for the first time after shower on my dry skin it was a bit itchy and somewhat irritating but I trusted the process and that sensation went away. Now I don’t have any problems whatsoever, I don’t sweat even during my intense workouts, I mean no smell, no wetness, nothing. It works wonders and works for about 5 days for me without reapplying. I’m on my third spray now and this one little bottle lasts me for a half of year. Also, before using this much aluminum I was a bit concerned, but I haven’t found any scientific evidence of health disruptions caused by antiperspirants containing aluminum…

So the product does work. My job requires me walking around the streets in thick jumpers and hi vis coats, no matter what antiperspirants I used I would sweat and smell. Tried this and it does work, keeps your armpits dry and odour free, my only cons would be applying it can feel weird as it’s sticky and wet for a while and also the price as for me this only lasts at most 2 days I can’t go longer than that without BO starting to come through however it remains dry. I don’t understand why they’d release the product in such small bottles why not lynx size bottles or a spray can instead? I think I’ll be able to just squeeze a months worth of work out of it but that’s by just wearing it for work and not on days I’m not at work. Little pricey but does work I just can’t get 5 days out the product maybe I’m not using enough but at the same time if I have to spray more to get the 5 days then it will just run out way sooner anyway.

I've suffered from hyperhydrosis all my life. I've discovered iontophoresis as a miracle cure for my hands. Perspi-guard is a miracle cure for my underarms. I put it on before bed, after a shower. I still apply normal antiperspirant (Mitcham) in the morning. My arm pits are completely dry for the rest of the week. What sets this apart from other products that I've tried is that Perspi-guard does not sting or irritate. In fact, it's so gentle that my two kids aged 12 and 15, who have unfortunately inherited this debilitating condition, are able to use this too. Both used to have large sweat marks all the way through their school jumpers, now they are completely dry. They also use it on their hands, and it works great. My only gripe is that it's pretty expensive for quite small quantities, but ultimately worth it for the amazing result.

I don't know normally leave reviews, but this was a total exception. I've only had my product a few days and my god, I am unbelievably impressed with the results. I suffer from severe facial hyperhidrosis, and its embarrassingly uncomfortable for me. I sweat everywhere, from walk a small distance to being nervous around someone, it's disgusting and the anxiety that comes along with this condition makes me hate my body. I was recommended by a friend to try either Odaban or Pepsi-Guard, and despite the fact they are not products to be used on the face, i tried and tested the product after reading so many positive reviews. My first night trying the product, I carried out my usual routine of cleansing, exfoliating and toning my face so that it was clean and oil free. (don't use your moisturiser at night, I use it first thing in the morning instead) I then sprayed a small amount of the liquid onto a cotton ball and gently rubbed in the areas that protrude the most amount of sweat. I have to admit at first I was wary, and for someone who has super sensitive skin, I was expecting some slight irritation or even burning. It did sting a little bit when first applied, but that goes away after a few minutes and doesn't leave any redness or blistering afterwards. Although I was advised to use sparingly. I then went to bed. Waking up in the morning, my face did feel slightly tight but nothing that a little bit of moisturiser couldn't sort. Throughout the day, I went about my usual routines and errands (I'm a very sociable and busy lady) and not a drop of sweat was to be sighted. I could not believe it when I got home at the end of the day and my makeup was still intact. The next few days following, and I have never felt more comfortable or confident in my life. Simply because I used this product on my life. I have started applying it on my underarms, back, feet and hands. The only downside is after a few days it begins to wear off and you do start to sweat a little bit, so I would apply it maybe 3 times a week. And it does make your skin slightly dry, but that's easily solved with some lotion. Some tips is use very sparingly - the smallest spray goes a long way and ensure that you have not just shaved because it hurts like a bitch. This does not stop sweating altogether, it only prevents excessive sweating. I do sweat sometimes when I'm doing intense activities (as does every other human) and it's healthy for our body to sweat, but this is just a miracle for those of us who sweat more than others. I strongly recommend this product!!!

Product works great, stopped excessive sweating from my armpits, but it seems to have stained my t-shirts white at the armpits, used exactly as instructed aswell, down 4 black t-shirts due to staining.

This is absolutely fantastic, my son has tried boyish, other deoderant off the Internet and now this with the shower wash and I can say this is by far the best ever, my son had become so embarrassed how he smelt with sweat but this has completely changed it....he never smells at all now!! Best products ever

*edit* thia didnt work for me :( Okay, i have recently started suffering with a very sweaty face. I dont have to do much ... just get out of bed or walk into the next room and Boom my face is wet wet. Picture a thirty something year old plus size woman on round 6 in the boxing ring sweat dripping off the face.. that kinda sweat! It's like I have been to the gym for a hard work out, or run a marathon. Its insane! No one wants to see that. I use the humour to cover up the fact that it's actually getting me down so much so I have stopped going out because I'm so embarrassed that people see me like this. And I know it's bad because strangers will comment on it to me and its soul destroying. This product was going to save me. I cleaned my face and pat dry. Left it a few mins until it was 100% dry then sprayed this directly on my face. First off the spray is not great. I was expecting a fine mist for even coverage However it was more like a single jet of liquid similar to the spray mecanism on antibacterial surface sprays. Because of this i ended up spraying on to my hands and patting it into my skin until tacky. For reference I have dry skin. I did not apply any moisturiser or serums after this I just let it dry and went to bed. This does kinda itch i little as it drys, not horrific but is noticeable and lasted around an hour and a half for me. Washed my face like usual the next morning and then applied my serum and moisturiser and makeup. Now usually by the time I wall downstairs my face will be glistening with sweat. This particular morning it was not! (Hooray) However they victory was short lived as by the time I got my baby in his pushchair once again my face was dripping with sweat. GUTTED! ( side note I also applied to my underarms and also didn't work and I'm not particularly sweaty underarm. Its defo not my problem area anyway) I'm going to give it a week and try it again but I hold no hope so currently I can't reccomend this product to anyone. If anything changes I'll update this review but currently its a Fail.
