Crenova,Mini Projector XPE460 Full Color Home Video Projector, 130" Portable LED Pico Projector with HDMI for Home Theater Support 1080P HD Game USB SD iPad iPhone Android Smartphone - White

I knew that this projector would need a darkened room so that was exactly as expected and I am in no way dissappointed with it. For use as a holiday display in darkened bedrooms it is ideal and fits easily into my small Ryanair sized carryon bag along with all my other stuff . What wasn't expected was what a great piece of kit this was in every other respect. The built in media player copes with all the usual stuff: av / usb / hdmi inputs and even an analogue tv tuner. The projected image is clear and can be projected to the large size stated and can be back projected and flipped vertically and horizontally and ceiling projection works well. The remote works excellently; point it at the wall as if it was a TV. What would make it even better is if it could focus at a very close distance to allow a small screen with enough light to be seen in daylight as a computer monitor, but sadly it doesn't. I guess for this incredibly cheap price you can't have absolutely everything.

I'm doing some halloween projectors on multiple windows so needed a few cheap projectors. I started with the ABDTech 1200 lumens, then added a Crenova XPE600 (2600 Lumen) projector, both served the purpose well.I needed to buy a 3rd projector so thought I'd give this Crenova XPE460 (1200 lumens) a go.Unfortunately I first found that it wouldn't read my USB drive at all so ended up sending it back; although I gave it a shot with other inputs to see how it would have compared.I liked the fact that unlike the ABDTech, the connections were on 1 side and the back and that it has a tripod mounting point!The build quality of this projector felt much more robust and higher quality than that of the ABDTech.I tested the picture and sound quality compared to the ABDTech projector and found the ABDTech was slightly brighter as well as being a bit louder.The power lead that comes with this projector is VERY short which was a pain when I simply wanted to plugin to the wall and just take it a meter or so to project onto a clean wall.All in all, probably what you'd expect from this budget of projector but as the USB input wasn't working, I sent it back and am going to replace it for the similarly priced ABDTech, given that it had a longer lead and the sound/brightness were a little better in comparison

For the price it’s great. Ya the fan is a bit loud but plug a speaker in and it’s grand, really like it and glad I got it, delivered quickly and its small so it can be packed away when not in use or if you’re waiting for someone to fit it to a wall. The plug lead is a bit short but again for the price of it it’s grand grab an extension lead and you’re away.

Firstly... Ignore the specs! It's nothing like the specs suggests in terms of brightness! Remember you can easily spend 10 times the money on a basic projector! That said it is what it is! A very cheap projector which produces a very watchable picture in a dark-ish room! The big bonus is that it can play direct from a USB stick IF you format it correctly! The menu setup is crude but effective! It has a tinny built in speaker which does the job but for decent sound, plug it into a decent iPod speaker! (I used a Bose Soundlink mini and the results were really good). All in all an excellent solution for rainy days on holiday! Really compact too! Power consumption is under 100w so can run off caravan power and probably an inverter (though I haven't tried!)

I was looking for a cheap and affordable projector to use in the garden for the summer evenings. With the British weather probably 5 times a year. Having spent hours searching and reading reviews I decided with the crenova xpe460.Upon receiving initially felt it was a pretty decent projector. The fan was a little noisy and the remote some what clunky.But the image was decent , not high definition but good enough to watch movies.However upon close inspection I found a diagonal line on he lower left corner that could be seen during any fast motion on screen.I requested a return and ordered a replacement.Unfortunately the replacement has 2 diagonal lines going across the screen.So now I have 2 projectors ready to send back to amazon. I can't fault amazon for their delivery and service but I'm just a bit gutted both projectors were faulty. I'm not sure whether it's a batch issue, or if this is the case with all of them. I'm not gonna take a risk with a third one.So it seems back to researching for an alternative for me.

Decent little projector. I’ve uodgraded since buying this as the fan was too loud even when using speakers or headphones. Got hot pretty quick. Overall a good little item to have for kids room or a family movie night.

Just received this product having done lots of research and reading reviews on the many lower priced projectors that are now available and set it up to test it before boxing it away pending some decorating.I was extremely impressed with the picture quality out of the box, I have not tweaked or adjusted it and did not seem to have a need to do so.There is a mini speaker but really it is not much use but with this unit for the full cinema experience you will be linking this up to a surround sound unit (which I could not do as it was packed away).For a projector on a budget, this is perfect, I obviously can't comment on longevity but there is an option in the box to scan a code and get a 24 month warranty for free which suggests the company are confident in there product so that is reassuring.Another point for prospective buyers is the screen, I ordered one which has not arrived yet but actually this looked fantastic just on my white wall so it may not be nessersary to purchase one if you do not want to spend out on one.My next task will be to source the ceiling mount so hopefully this will not be too difficult.
