100x TIMES BUTTER than regular mayo!!!
I rarely write reviews anywhere, including Amazon. But man, this mayo truly deserves one!!!I was rather hesitant for months to try Kewpie after reading some reviews here stating it's no much difference comparing to those old cheap brands, like Heinz etc. Look, I'm not sure what's wrong with those people's taste buds, but it is NOT the same as Heinz or any other cheap supermarket brands, for sure!.. It is SO MUCH BETTER !!! It is full of flavour, it's reach and delicate at the same time.I'm not exactly sure what it is that makes Kewpie taste so much better, could be the quality of their eggs (or egg yolks), but hey, it is night and day, seriously! It is a game changer. You can't compare it to those cheaper brands!!!Yes, it is quite pricey... But hey, I'd rather buy it a bit less often than usual, but at least I’ll always have a quality product on my table which i truly enjoy!!!

Lives up to the hype
Like many people I originally found this product on social media. However, I loved it so much I’m now onto my third bottle! I’d suggest the taste is somewhere between a traditional mayonnaise and a salad cream. It’s got quite an addictive flavour profile which tastes good on a variety of foods. I’ve used it in traditional sandwiches but also in the making of sushi and poke bowls. The bottle is made of soft plastic which is fun but a bit of a pain standing it up in the fridge. As you get to the end of the bottle I find myself jamming it in between other bottles to keep it upright.Overall, it’s a great quality product but the price lends itself to being more of a treat than an everyday mass usage product. I’ll definitely buy again.

Scary doll
Oh boy, where do I even start with Kewpie mayonnaise? I mean, this stuff is like a party in your mouth - and not necessarily a good one.First off, the bottle itself looks like it's straight out of a 1970s sci-fi movie. I half expected it to start beeping and flashing at me like some kind of intergalactic distress signal. And don't even get me started on that creepy little Kewpie doll on the label. Is it just me, or does that thing look like it's plotting to take over the world? As for the mayo itself, well, let's just say that it's definitely an acquired taste. It's thick, gloopy, and has a weird tangy flavor that's hard to describe. It's like someone mixed together a jar of regular mayo with a bottle of vinegar and a dash of soy sauce, then left it out in the sun for a few days. But hey, if you're into that kind of thing, go for it. Kewpie mayo is definitely not for the faint of heart. Personally, I like my mayo to be a little more... normal. You know, like the kind that doesn't make you feel like you're eating an alien condiment from another planet.Overall, I give Kewpie mayo a solid "meh." It's not terrible, but it's not exactly a culinary masterpiece either. Unless you're a die-hard fan of weird, tangy condiments, I'd say stick to the regular stuff. And for the love of all that is holy, keep that Kewpie doll away from me.

Taste slightly unusual.
Taste slightly unusual, but that's what was expected and why I tried it. For me taste was OK , was smooth, and texture as expected for mayonaise. Not really for me but try it you might like it.

Kewpie: The Ultimate Condiment
I’m here to rave about my latest obsession: Kewpie Mayo! I'm not exaggerating when I say I use it on practically everything - It's like a little slice of heaven, and I can't get enough of it! So, what makes Kewpie Mayo so special? For starters, it has this rich, creamy texture that's just divine. It's not too thick or too thin, but just right - perfect for any Asian dish or even on a burger. And the flavor? Oh, my goodness! It's like a party in my mouth with Kewpie. But here's the thing: I'm not the only one who loves Kewpie Mayo. My kids are obsessed with it too! They ask for it by name, and I'm not surprised - it's a great alternative to plain old mayonnaise! Kewpie Mayo is worth every penny! It's not cheap, but trust me, it's worth the splurge. You can't put a price on happiness, and Kewpie Mayo brings me so much joy! It's a must-try for anyone who loves mayonnaise. So go ahead, give it a try! You won't regret it.

That's Different
I've tried and consumed various brands of mayonnaise over the years, but this is something different.I'm not sure what flavourings Kewpie uses to make their mayonnaise stand out, but I much prefer theirs to any other mayonnaise I've ever had. Other mayo tastes bland in comparison. There is something about Kewpie's mayonnaise that makes it taste creamier and, well, just nicer than any other.Because of the price, I use less of this mayonnaise and only for 'special' meals. If I don't need the mayo to stand out, I use a regular brand; if I want that extra flavour, I use Kewpie's mayo. Sounds silly, but this is the one mayo I like to savour.

This has become a staple
I bought this for something specific and have ended up buying it every month... It doesn't replace the usual mayonnaise in our house and is most often used as a dip. It is like mayo, but lighter and a little more piquant. The packaging is very smart - there is no leakage, hardly any wastage and we throw out an almost entirely clean, empty bottle each time with no effort. It's totally unnecessary, but a regular purchase nevertheless!
