Should I buy the blue yeti or this? I'm getting started in YouTube tech videos and I'm kind of an audio noob. And I have to pay extra for this mic.

It's a great mic. However, I use it for instrument recording rather than vocals. The key thing with the MXL 990 condenser is it is not USB, requiring a xlr connector on a mixer or audio interface with phantom power. If you have these (and it's not a Behringer 502 or smaller which do not supply the required voltage for this mic) then I would strongly recommend the MXL. If you don't have this equipment then a USB yeti is probably a cheaper option.

Which arm would work with this out of the box, without the need for converting anything?

This reply is a bit late but it may help others. Get the RØDE PSA1, don't argue , don't go looking at the 15 quid specials, this mic is too heavy for them. I have tired both and the PSA1 is worth every penny. Not sponsored by RØDE or anyone else , just a customer like you.
