Bought this to provide an undercoat on the external door handles coverage is great when sprayed and the contact to product is good as well and I would suggest leaving for 24hrs to settle then finish with your final colour

I decided to buy primer this time for a respray job and i am glad i did.Last spring i sprayed 4 ceramic planters without primer and within weeks it was coming off with just the rain hitting it - so i had to strip them down and start again! a valuable lesson.I bought this primer to respray some iron wall- art as it was too dark for our living room after we decorated - it worked a treat - i cleaned it with soapy water left to dry - sprayed the primer left it for 24 hours and then used a chrome spray - job done!Looks amazing - well worth buying as a primer i would not try anything now without it!

Easy to use, bit expensive tho

The Paint has a very Smooth Finish and is easy to use.The Primer has provided a very Consistent, Flat, Finish - overall.It is best to paint outside, if possible. The Fumes are fairly strong.Wear Safety Glasses and Gloves and a good quality Breathing Mask with built-in Filters.Ordinary Decorators Dust-masks are not good enough.

This is actually the cheapest place I have found to buy this paint. I use it to undercoat my models and have found it the best to undercoat with.I have undercoated hundreds of Warhammer and bolt action models and it gives a nice tone to the models for starting painting. It is similar in colour to Warhammer based model colour but paint stick to it!

The coverage is very good, it leaves a nice surface for your next coat. It's pretty hardwearing even without a finish coat, we mended the sump on our excavator and used a whole can of this to give a good 3 coats (it also levels things out a bit), one year later the sump is still in good nick.

Use as instructed. Lasts longer.

The actual paint, a primer, looks very good. Excellent coverage, it flows well and forms a nice even coat.The can it came in is not up to Rust-Oleum's usual standard though. Most of the paint pools in the indent at the top of the can instead of spraying out of the nozzle so it drips all over the place. I'm covered in the stuff. Not impressed at all!
