My daughter's are five and in kindergarten and we have them in a Catholic School. Like other mom's on here, I purchased the Claire Stride Rite Mary Jane in Navy to match their uniform. After the first week of school, my mind was blown that it was even possible for them to scuff up the toes on those shoes. They have to wear the dress shoes on Friday's to mass, but the first week of school, they wore them daily. I about died how horrible they looked, one week in to school and I paid $50 a piece for those shoes. I went back to the Stride Rite store and asked for navy shoe polish and tried/called about 10 other stores in my area on the hunt for navy shoe polish - nothing. I turned to Amazon (which I should have done in the first place) desperate to see if I could find navy polish (I was shocked navy is so hard to find). After reading the reviews and seeing photos posted of the EXACT shoes that my kids have here in the reviews, I ordered a bottle. FABULOUS. The shoes are restored!!!! Also, the original navy of the Claire shoe is a bit lighter navy than I had originally wanted for the uniforms. After using this polish, it darkened the shoes up a bit and they are the exact navy of their uniform/knee socks and look a lot better. A LITTLE goes a long way. I did four shoes and barely made a dent in the polish. It dries quick and goes on smooth. I had to write a review because the other mom's who wrote reviews saved me a lot of time and money. Get this. It's great polish and your kids won't look scraggly going to mass.

I'll come back and edit if after it dries it's flaky or anything weird but for starters, my boots are BACK! Before on one foot and after on the other.

I bought this to cover up little nicks I had on my cabinet doors. It is perfect and a little goes a long way. I did take off a star because it has a funny smell. Doesn't smell like regular shoe polish. But, I didn't buy it for the scent. It is awesome for what I needed it for!!

This polish matched the color of my leather sofa that has been so badly scratched by my dog’s nails. Just applying this evenly made my sofa look brand new. It took five minutes to dry and the polish does not come off on your clothes. It does not have any smell either. I’m so satisfied and will be ordering more. Excellent! I picked the dark chocolate shade.

Silky smooth-like chocolate pudding. Has a freshness seal below the screw on cap to ensure no mess. Great coverage-a little.goes a good way. I took my size 11.5 hiking boots from bare (but very clean) leather to a nice deep brown in no time. Nice color that buffs shiny-retained the wet look, even without the Kiwi wax. Still planning the top coat, but it looks nice as is. Tip-lather a brush with saddle soap after scraping off all mud and junk. A good boot brush set can be had on Amz for about $11. Two for saddle soaping and then coloring. A longer one for buffing the shine out. Neutral saddle soap can be used on dark OR light shoes, so go with the natural.

Thanks to Josephine Leonard's September 2017 review, I had to try this polish. I needed navy polish for the same Stride Rite Mary Jane navy shoes for my 6yr old. This polish has breathed new life into her shoes and made them look like new! My daughter has to wear Mary Janes for chapel at her school one day each week, but she wants to wear them 3-4 days a week with her other uniform attire thus wearing them out faster. I wish I had this polish last school year.....I really needed it! My daughter went through three pairs of these Mary Jane's last year and the current pair that I used the polish on is the 2nd pair this school year! I could not find navy polish last school year, not even on Amazon. This polish saved me a lot of money from having to buy yet another pair. The polish goes on easily and a little goes a long way. Lightly tap the sponge onto the cream and then apply a thin layer. It is well worth the purchase! I love Amazon and reading the reviews. Thank you! 5/18/18 UPDATE: This polish rocks!! I have been repolishing my daughter's navy Mary Jane's every weekend and the day before any special school activities to cover scuff marks accumulated during the school week since purchasing back in January. One more week of school left. I LOVE this stuff!!

For years I have been looking for a leather shoe polish that meets my needs and finally I've found it! Polishing my shoes before had been a very frustrating exercise. I had to use the Kiwi liquids that come in applicators with the poor quality sponges that deteriorated and fell apart after a few uses. I ended up with spillage onto my marble floors and eventually having to throw away the remaining liquid due to the applicator damage. The liquid also tended to dribble off onto the floor if you pressed just a little too hard on the applicator to get it to come out. Thankfully after years of frustration I stumbled across this on Amazon. The sponge applicator is much longer lasting and the polish isn't a liquid that spills. It applies evenly and easily over the shoe surface and now shoe polishing is a joy that I look forward to each month. Great idea for an applicator, great design and excellent product! Very, very highly recommended!
