I had my gallbladder removed around 7 years ago. Since I've had to watch I don't eat anything too fatty or else it's a quick run to the loo!Around 3 months ago I started experiencing a great deal of pain & some bloating immediately after eating practically any food (not just fatty things) followed by hot and cold sweats and a feeling like I was going to faint and then having to run to the loo immediately after eating.I had various blood checks as was convinced I had some kind of cancer I felt so unwell but all came back OK so I decided to try these in case it was related to my lack of gallbladder.I've been taking them now a couple of weeks along side my lunchtime meal when at work and it's no exaggeration to say they have literally changed my life! I no longer have all the excruciating pain, bloating, sweats, faint feelings and I dont have to embarrassingly run to the loo every time I eat.I started with just 1 tablet a couple of mins before eating. First couple of days I felt "a little full" but fine otherwise and didn't go to the loo first day or so, after 3rd day that full feeling went and I was going to the loo again at least daily but not experiencing the awful diahorrea I was before starting the tablets.My only negative experience I had was one day when to be fair I had eaten a large roast dinner quite quickly so possibly it was expecting too much for one single tablet to cope with the amount of fat within the meal, so now if I'm eating something particularly fatty ill just up it to 2 tablets and it seems fine.It's allowed me to eat out with friends again without needing to leave in pain immediately after eating as I was before. I haven't needed more than 2 a day so far so for me I find these tablets really good value maybe if I needed 6 a day less so. They do taste a little funky but it's a small price to pay for the freedom these tablets now give me and I feel so much more in control of my life again.Can't recommend them enough!

Bought these initially because I have two gallstones in my gall bladder and I wanted to see if I could reduce or break them up with bile salts. Watched Dr.Berg on YouTube who said that gall stones sometimes develop in people who don’t make enough bile. And saw how they helped when people had their gall bladders removed and then weren’t making enough bile.I don’t know yet if they have reduced the stones as I haven’t had a follow up appointment yet, will be interesting to see if they have. But I’m loathe to have my gall bladder removed unless I absolutely have to because this can have awful side effects when the bile production goes down.I take one before a meal, so usually take two a day. I’m not getting any slight pain anymore after meals around my gall bladder area, and I also had acid reflux and this has pretty much gone so far, which was an added benefit that I didn’t know would happen.Tablets arrived quickly, and I like that they are produced here in Britain, and are fairly reasonable priced. Will definitely order again.And if you want advice on any digestive problems watch the Dr.Berg videos on YouTube, since changing my diet and following some of his advice about healthy eating I have felt much better and lost weight too. He also advised about bile salts which I was unaware of before, so found these here in the UK. And no, I’m not being paid to promote him, just find his advice very helpful and interesting!

I like the smaller doses of 125ml capsules which meant I could start taking these at 2 per day instead of the recommended 4. After only a few days I noticed positive improvements in digestion, and less bloating and constipation. I have a gallstone of 1.5mm and some sludge in the gallbladder. The consultant wants to take out the gallbladder and did not mention that I was perhaps not producing enough bile. I researched and found that bile acid actually breaks down and dissolves the cholesterol formation of stones, as well as clearing out the sludge (which is the first stage of stone formation). With some diet changes, like reducing carbohydrates and eating gallbladder/liver supporting foods, I am well on the way to saving my gallbladder! The bile tablets should be prescribed as soon as stones are discovered - instead the first instruction on seeing stones is to ignore them, and then when you get more and the stones start causing problems, it’s “take out the gallbladder - you don’t need it anyway!”. I’m slowly increasing the dose to 4, and will have another ultrasound in 6 months. Covid has prevented an early operation for me - and saved my gallbladder since I’ve learned about Bike Acid tablets!

The capsules of Gallmet are easy to swallow and it seems good quality for the quick results in supporting my digestion and bowels opening. It's made in UK and arrived next day. Very happy with this product. I recommend it.

I’ve been using the GALLMET Natural 60x Ox Bile 125mg Bile Salt for my gallstones, and while I can't say it's made a noticeable difference yet, I’m hopeful that time will tell. I haven’t experienced any side effects, which is a plus. I chose this product based on positive reviews from other customers. While I can't say it’s helped me personally, it might be worth a try for others dealing with similar issues.

They definitely work but they suppress appetite so probably beneficial to people that want to lose weight

These capsule didn't agree with my digestive system very well. Have suffered with IBS since gall bladder removal several years ago. These made it worse. Would not recommend or buy again. Remainder going in the bin.
