Wonderful, but fairly noisy trimmer...!
The small size of this trimmer is perfect for removing matts from a cat's coat, my reason for buying it. I have a larger Wahl trimmer that I have used for years, so when I saw this small trimmer I knew, because of the brand it would be good. It has not disappointed, the tiny head is perfect for getting into small spaces and for removing small matts, etc. Other reviewers have stated that it does not cut through matted hair and is therefore not suited for its purpose. There is no trimmer on the market that can cut through matted or felted hair. The trick is to get right to the base of the matt were it is joined to the skin, then holding the trimmer head horizontal to the skin and base of matt start to cut through the hairs holding it in place. It does take some practice, but well worth the effort and so much safer than scissors, etc. This trimmer is fairly noisy and I was concerned that the cat would not let it near her, but to my surprise she was not at all bothered and seemed very calm, while I removed the offending matt. Thoroughly recommended...!

very noisy
I chose this brand because I have their clippers and they are good value for money. However, I was surprised that something so small could make so much noise. Hopefully, they won't alarm my dog, when I am doing his paws, and I will be able to make good use of them. I was hoping that I that I could use these around the eye and ear area too, but this will be out of the question because of the high noise level. Sadly, tried to use this trimmer and it didn't work. The trimmer blades appear to be moving, and as I have already mentioned, tey are making a noise, but they do not trim at all. Have had to return.

Loud, but works
I picked this clipper for our Schnauzer for 2 reasons. Wahl is a well known brand and it ran on batteries rather than needing charging or plugging in. I used it, it works fine even for smallish paws. However it is very very noisy, with an unhappy dog and an unhappy me. He put up with it, but he is also nearly deaf at 14.

Perfect Delicate Small Scale Trimmer - Bad Battery Life
We've been struggling to trim between the toes of our toy poodles for a while, and this is just the job, it does an excellent trim. There's literally no vibration, it's a little loud though, a high pitched whizzing to the motor. The only fault I can draw is the battery life, after trimming 3 dogs feet and around their ears the AA battery was depleted and we had to get another, rechargeable-high capacity- batteries are the way to go with this trimmer. If the battery life had of been better, or there had been a mains ability to power this it'd have gotten the full 5 stars. As it is, it's a very good foot and face trimmer, for our dogs, our rabbit and guinea pigs! Anything small and delicate.

A must have
I bought these mainly for my 17 year old Lowchen (soft silky fur) he's recently developed some health issues and gets quite afraid when being handled to the point where he's bitten me several times when trying to trim his feet, he also can't tolerate even groomers or vets plucking his ears as it's too painful. I've tried this a few minutes ago after showing and stroking him with it most of the day (vibration are hardly there) and he's let my trim his ears and his tear stains, I even managed to touch his feet with it. Things you should expect, it's quite noisy compared to my big clippers bit like an electric tooth brush, it's quite small and doesn't whizz through their fur like big clippers but this is for tiny areas and does work a treat on the bits I've tried I also trimmed my Standard Poodles feel her hair is quite thick. All in all is a handy little gadget to have.

Small enough for tiny feet, although very noisy UPDATE no longer cutting
UPDATE after about a year of light use (1 small dog for 6 months, plus a pup for 6 months) they have pretty much stopped cutting. And they’ve got through an awful lot of batteries. Will try a rechargeable one next, these are for the bin. I’ve always trimmed my small dogs’ feet between toes and pads with round nosed scissors. It’s been awkward, time consuming, and I’m still worried I could catch the skin. Finally tried this as I’m worried about harvest mites and scissors can’t get the fur short enough to check easily. It is brilliant! Small enough for tiny toes, feels safe, got the fur shorter than I ever could with scissors, and much quicker. Fortunately my pup is very noise tolerant, but she did ‘raise an eyebrow’ at it. I can now check between her toes for the teeny orange dots of harvest mites, and it is much easier to apply some neem mite repellent as a precaution (normal spot on treatments don’t work for these). It will also help reduce the amount of mud she brings home, and her feet will dry faster. Good purchase!

Nifty little tool to trim ties and pads quickly but safely
Bought this to trim my dogs paws. He doesn’t like me going anywhere near his paws with scissors , although he doesn’t like me going near him with this little shaver but at least I can cut him quickly without nipping him. If you have a really hairy dog I would advise cutting the excess off first before attempting with these . This shaver can only cut off small amount of hair at a time . It is also very loud for such a tiny razor . My dog was abit scared at first but I gave him little treats while it was on and he more or less bears it now when I use this on him . Good value for money as well for under £10. Only thing would be if Wahl could find a way to reduce the noise of it when it’s on. I have a wahl dog trimmer and it’s nowhere near as loud as this ting razor.

Poor performance
Bought to trim hairs between my dogs toe pads. Positive point was the width of the blade, perfect size for getting into the tricky areas on my dog. Negative points are very loud in operation with big vibrations,my dog was scared of it, did not cut even the fine hairs.does not do what it is supposed to..wish I had read the reviews before but because Wahl is a well known and usually trusted brand I purchased it. Had to return and request a refund as not fit to do the job it was needed for..

Väldigt högljudd, katten blev rädd, därför problematisk att använda.

The product isn’t defective, it just doesn’t work! Makes a lot of buzzing noise, but does not trim hair at all.

It’s very neat. But I bought this more my 50lbs bordoodle and it’s so small that it’s not that effective on my size dog. But it works well on my long haired cats when I need to clean up their paw pads. And I’m sure it would be great for small/toy/miniature breeds.
