Effective but blend ratio could be improved
I feel compelled to leave a review for this product, as I'm pleasantly surprised with its effects. I have turned to this coffee because of high mental demands at my job and needing to make frequent, split-second decisions. I have found that ONNOR helps me act swiftly without making mistakes, and the Rhodiola keeps me sane. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is two-fold: the taste and the blend ratio. As other reviewers have mentioned, it IS an acquired taste, though it is hard to make bitter herbs taste good even in something like coffee. I find that when I make it into an oat milk latte, it's not as overpowering or strange.Secondly, I have noticed that the recommendation is to have two cups a day on the basis of a cup providing 250 mg of citicoline. According to Examine, a higher dosage would annihilate any cognitive performance enhancements. I cite:"Standard dosing of CDP-choline is to take 500-2,000 mg in two divided doses (of 250-1,000 mg) usually separated by 8-12 hours, although a single daily dose is also sometimes used. A single dose of 4,000 mg does not appear to affect the blood any differently than 2,000 mg, and so it is not necessary to take such a high dose. There are some properties, such as attention-promotion or improving bioenergetics, that seem to respond exclusively or more strongly to the lower dosage range."This is potentially a problem for people like me who like to consume up to 5 or more cups a day because one cup already contains so much citicoline. I would otherwise have to use a different coffee blend (such as mushroom coffee) throughout the rest of the day to balance this out.I know it took the founder a long time to come up with the perfect "recipe," but I believe this could be tweaked further and improved by reducing the citicoline dosage per cup ever so slightly, and potentially raising the Arabica dosage to provide a richer brew at the same time! Some food for thought there, and a very good product, nonetheless.

It tastes AWFUL
For me, this product can be broken down into three categories: Taste; Nootropic effect; and Cost.-Taste-This coffee tastes awful. It has a bitter, chemically aftertaste. I have tried other products within the same category as this one which taste much better. Some of them taste no different to ,regular, coffee. 2/5-Nootropic effect-There is definitely a positive nootropic effect after consuming this product. I was able to study for long periods while maintaining focus. There was also not a crash or any 'Jitters' associated with its consumption. Is it any more potent than the effect of other products on the market? No. 3/5-Cost-Per cup, this product is a lot cheaper than some of the other products available of the same category - less than £1 per serving. 4/5-Conclusion-This product represents value for money from a purely nootropic standpoint. When considering whether or not to purchase, I would advise people to consider whether the money saved by purchasing this product is worth the awful taste. There are other products available for a slightly higher cost that have the same benefits as this one and you will actually enjoy drinking them. 3/5

A genuinely great product.
Been working from home for the last two weeks because of Covid-19. I found it really hard to stay focused on tasks without getting distracted.Starting the day with an Onnor coffee, and then one in the afternoon has really made a difference. Instead of being hit with a short term burst of alertness that I'd usually get from my usual coffee, Onnor feels like the fog has been lifted and the dials have been turned up. Each task I take on is just easier.Instead of the usual caffeine crash, you don't even notice it lose its effectiveness, you just wind down gently.I've also noticed that I've been sleeping better and waking up easier than before. Usually, my mornings are hard work, can't seem to shake off the grogginess, but this past week, I've just been waking up with no fog or grogginess.Great product.

Totally hooked
This is about my 5th bag possibly I can't do without it now .So the taste is a aquired taste but I've come to like it I used to need 2 very strong coffees in a morning but now I have one of these and it sets me up for the day .I love that you don't get the coffee jitters with this and I genuinely look forward to drinking it every morning. I shall continue to order it because I'd hate to be without it now

Perfect for this ADHD girl
The media could not be loaded. I enjoyed this coffee very much. I replaced my normally strong coffee twice a day for Instant Genius coffee and noticed I was more focused and motivated, I definitely had a more improved memory. I do prefer a ground coffee so if it came in ground form it would be spot on, but it does do exactly what it says on the product and the pouch is handy to put in your bag.

I love this stuff!
This coffee tastes great and helps me feel good and to think clearly, be alert etc. It is quite expensive, that is the only downside. Therefore I only let myself have one cup per day - if it were a bit cheaper I would drink more! It really is lovely coffee though.

My son loves this stuff.
My son loves this stuff! He's 16 and sitting his GCSE's right now. "Mum" he said to me the other day "we need more of this stuff quickly" "really, why?" says I, not a true believer in this sort of stuff. "Its great and is definitely helping me focus more on my exams," he says, so another pack was bought immediately! He is also an avid bolder climber and says it helps him on his Sunday morning 3 hours climb. I can't comment as I don't drink coffee. My son has tried other similar products but says this is the only one that he notices making any difference to his mental and physical state. I'm updating this review from 2018 to say my son now age 17 still swears by this and with A levels on the horizion who am I to stop buying it now.
