Great glue
A good product at a fair price, this glue really does work. Follow the instructions and you will get a very strong, permanent repair.

Excellent at what it does... but read instructions carefully.
I've used all purpose glues for many years now, with one brand in particular, and have always liked the slower drying/curing time to give me time to adjust and re-set when gluing, as opposed to instant glues. However, there are some jobs where my normal all purpose falls down. It's not waterproof, or heat/cold resistant, and because it dries as a flexible plastic, more demanding repairs and awkward breaks are too much for it.By chance, I discovered this glue on Amazon - I'd never heard of it before! - and have used it on several difficult gluing jobs. Such as repairing my prescription sunglasses, which recently snapped where the metal hinge joins the frame, so effectively to work, the glue would have to bond metal to plastic - and not much of either to grip, at that!If you've ever tried gluing spectacle frames, you'll know what a nightmare it is. And I won't lie, because of it's slow grab/curing time, this was fiddly as hell. But once I figured out a way to get it to stay in place while it dried, grab it did. I was genuinely amazed that it worked... I figured I'd have to make a trip back to the opticians, and be waiting weeks to get them repaired/replaced!Some things you need to be aware of when using this glue;1. Wear gloves. As it warns - this stuff stains skin - so when using, best to have rubber or latex gloves on all all times. I'm careful with glues, but it's easy to get some on your skin while working (as with any glue). It also stains clothes, so if in doubt, use old clothes while using it.2. Don't expect instant adhesion like a superglue. This glue is NOT that. What it does, is grip over time, and give you plenty of time to make readjustments (handy in the case of my sunglasses!) It's gripping time is slow - not epoxy resin slow, but like I said, it's not a superglue either - so if you need something sticking quickly, or trying to stick an item that CAN'T be held in place with tape or a clamp and isn't self-supporting (like say the stem of a pair of spectacles), you're going to struggle. What this does, it does extremely well. Just know what and how it works, and you'll be fine.3. Unlike ordinary all-purpose glues, it foams quite significantly. This - depending on the kind of gluing you're doing - is either a real benefit, or a bit of a drawback. For uneven surfaces, holes to fill, or breaks where a piece is missing, this is perfect for it. For hairline cracks, or fine gluing work, you might want to consider a different kind of glue, unless you have no problem with removing the excess glue afterwards. This is not a precision glue. And if you apply a coat of it vertically, or on the underside of something, because of its slow dry, foaming nature, it can drip. Make sure you have newspaper etc, to catch any drips, and obviously, keep children and animals out of the area as it dries. This is not stuff you want getting on tiny hands, fur, or in mouths.4. It doesn't dry clear, but instead, dries to a honeyish shade. The instructions say you can paint over it etc, but if you're looking for an invisible mend without further work, unless you're lucky enough to be repairing something that matches the colour of the glue, this isn't that kind of glue.5. Permanent bonding takes about 24 hours. It hardens to a resin between 1-2 hours however, so don't expect to go back a few hours later and make readjustments then. The curing time after it sets, increases its strength and adhesion.6. Unlike other glues, making the surface damp, actually improves adhesion. A spray mist bottle for cracks and holes, or a damp cloth for larger areas, is perfect for this.7. It's incredibly strong. DO NOT USE on something you may later want to separate again, or move. I know that seems obvious, but once this is glued, it's not going anywhere, unless you feel like using a hammer and chisel to part them again!8. After use, it's wisest to squeeze any air OUT of the bottle, as the glue can (potentially) react with the remaining air in the bottle, and start to harden.9. It is waterproof, and I can vouch for that, having used it recently on my fridge freezer to repair damage which was causing water to drip from it. The glue sealed the hole perfectly, and no further leaking has occurred. And in terms of extreme temperatures, well... it doesn't get much more extreme than fixing things in a freezer!10. Like all glues, it's wisest to use in a well ventilated area, especially indoors, and to keep it ventilated as it cures (ie for 24 hours).Me, I think this glue is what I was looking for, for those difficult, frustrating or otherwise "have to toss this in the bin" jobs, that normal all-purpose glues just aren't up to. I'd highly recommend it, with the caveat that, like all glues, you have to know exactly how you want to use it, and what you want to use it for. Knowing that, will save you a lot of frustration later.Update: I read in another review - and the product safety section - that there was a suspected carcinogenic nature to Gorilla Glue. Naturally I was interested in verifying this, so spent a little time actively checking if this is true or not. I found this page, which basically states - it isn't. Hopefully if anyone has any concerns, this should put their mind at rest.http://www.gorillatough.com/sites/all/themes/gorilla/pdf/GorillaEpoxyHardenerEnglishJun2010Green.pdf

String. Very strong
This stuff is great.Sticks anything to everything and I use it all the time. Think superglue on steroids - superglue that lasts! Absolutely waterproof too so good everywhere. Once it’s dry, confidence is high.Only downsides are:-1. it takes a good few hours (a day) before it fully sets so if you can’t hold the two items together in a vice for example then you might struggle2. It runs quite a bit so you can expect to have to scrape some set glue drops off the items once it’s all set. Not the best for neat jobs. If the glue won’t be visible then it’s great.3. Get it on your fingers and it’s there for days. Quite icky to work withBut, it’s so good as an actual glue that this is still my go-to for almost every job

Seems to have done the job on my loose paving slabs
The path leading up to my front door has stone slabs, each one measuring about 2ft x 2ft. Over the years, one of them in particular has started to wobble a bit when you walk on it.As I am not very good with things like this, I have just tried to ignore it for the best part of 5 years. Then I saw an advert for Gorilla Glue on the TV and I decided that it had to be worth a go.I started off with a test by gluing two old bricks together. The first, time I did it, it didn't work properly and they came apart after being thrown on the ground a few times. The second attempt worked and they are now (I think) permanently stuck together. So, onto the slab. I cleaned up the area with a hand brush and then applied a modest amount of glue to the ground. Apparently the glue expands quite a lot when it sets so it is better start out using less rather than more. Next, I sprayed the slab with a light coating of water and put it in place. Although the slab is quite heavy, I put a Barbecue Gas canister on top of it to weigh it down even more. Next morning, I removed the Gas Canister and the slab is rigid. No movement at all. That was a week ago so it may be that as time, wear & weather take their toll, the glue will lose its grip. If that happens I will update this review. For the moment however, the glue is definitely doing its job and it only cost £3.50 and about 30 minutes of my time. For such a small outlay, I have to recommend it.I think I am going to buy some Gorilla Tape now. There must be something round the house where I can try it...

Expands and difficult for multi use
This can be a very effective glue. However, the expansion as it says makes it unsuitable for many tasks. Additionally, every bottle I've had sets hard once opened so a lot ends up wasted. The double syringe epoxy offerings instead seem to be better suited to everything, and so long as the tips are wiped clear should last multiple uses without setting solid

Good glue
Good glue that does what it say on the packet.Easy to use and gives you sufficient time to ensure items are tightly held together before it fully bonds them.
