Great little out door speakers !
Bought these a few years ago (4 actually !) And recently dug them out of the garage, made a sealed box out of marine plywood, fitted them in and connected up a cheap amp (also purchased from Amazon) only cost me about £20 ! Bought a reasonable quality 3.5mm audio - phono lead. Plugged in a tablet found some music and to be honest was blown away with the sound quality. I have now put this in my hot tub area and it makes a great little party system. But please bare in mind, if you do have amp near a water source, make sure to properly insulate it from any water. As most people know water and electricity do not mix. Always consult a qualified professional .

one speaker failed within 6 weeks ( both speakers have now failed )
i use these speakers on my fishing boat. the sound quality was good and the build looks ok but one of them failed within the first 6 weeks. I have not spoke to the supplier about a replacement yet.
