Quick delivery but fitting isn't as easy as the instructions would make out. Needs a claw hammer or crowbar to stretch the chain out for fitting to the door frame, and mind your fingers! Adjustment range is good, ours is set so that the door closes but stops just short of latching (so the dog can still get in when he wants to!), which is exactly what we wanted.

Does what it should.Not that easy to install.... Needed 26mm drill bit and crowbar as well as a screwdriver ( I YouTubed a video to see what to do)

once you find two gladiators to pull out the spring it’s ok and easy to install -please ship them with keep installed so that the chain is pre exposed - don’t worry about closing force these are strong - too stron

I put the body of the closer in a vice and used a long lever to pull about eight links of the chain out, I then inserted a small screwdriver into a link to prevent it from springing back. Its then just a case of drilling the door and chiselling out the frame to the required depth.

Have used these door closers for years. Find them very god and durable. They are not the easiest things to fit but are well worth the effort. Keeping doors closed reduces heating bills more than you might think.

Can not install it. There is no way to stretch the spring

Works well and seems well made. Like all of these types tends to accelerate towards the close and a fair amount of adjustment is possible. The lock plate used in installation is flimsy but just workable.
