If i wanted to remove the film in spring how easy is it to remove the tape completely with no mess? Thanks in advance.

It leaves a sticky residue. Not easy to remove.

This is probably not the answer. You need to be able to attach the double-sided tape so that the film will not touch the glass. Also film very thin so working with large pieces might not be very smooth. Definitely would need more than one person! Having said that, I am delighted with the product on normal sized windows.

Will this work on old metal framed windows?

Yes it will we had old metal windows ,,make sure you. Clean the frame well before using so it will stick properly

can this be installed on a single velux window?

As long as the window (s), are single pane, wooden or metal framework, then it should be ok to fix around the window frame, hope this is of use to you
