These chucks are very handy for non dremel bits they dont last forever i find they at some point lockup and won't open its happened to two previous chucks not bought here but a common issue I guess but they arent expensive and they are good when they work definitely a good add-on for the dremel tools its why ive ordered this one official dremel chucks I prefere than cheaper knock offs id recommend these for dremel users..update old chuck i left oiled now its working again thats just my luck but im good with this always good to have a spare

I've been using it for a couple of years now. It's mostly been very handy and saved time. But the chuck has come loose while in use. It has also seized up a couple of times. My conclusion is it's due to heat. When working, if the chuck gets too hot, the metal expands and the bit gets loose. Tighten it up, but then after it cools down the chuck shrinks tight onto the bit. Keep it oiled and don't let it get too hot and it's a really useful tool

Found a hack on Youtube years ago. Finally purchased a Milwaukee Rotary Tool and this fits straight. Takes Dremel accessories too. Only recieved it today but seems well made. It alows easy change of tool bits of different diameters. It serves the function well. I've got limited bits to try it with but works with what i have.

This is another accessory I found I needed for my Dremel. It allows you to attach several sizes of bits to the main Dremel tool without changing the collets.Just keep in mind that this is only for miniature bits and will not allow the tool to drill bigger holes than what Dremel recommends even with a change of collet.This came in original Dremel packing and is not a cheap substitute or locally produced chuck. The three prongs align perfectly and the tightening and removing of bits is smooth and comfortable. There is a notch on the base which allows tightening using the standard Dremel wrench included with the original tool.I would recommend this to all serious enthusiasts. Its cheap and easily worth the investment.
