Q: How long does the 1kg of soap nuts last? (doing 4 to 5 loads a week)

Don't know exactly...I use 5-6 nuts in a bag and I use a bag 2-3 times. There are lots of nuts in 1 kg bag.

they come with small tie string bags put 4 in bag pop in drum select wash cycle can be used upto 3 times depending on dirt on clothes boil in pan after 3rd or 4th time use on floor to clean

Yes I believe these work at 30 degrees however if you are washing whites you need to add a extra bit of whitening to it!

We've used them for over a year 3 or 4 times a week, yes, they do have a little smell, but that smell goes in the wash.The nice part about using soap nuts is, you can use various smelly oils such as lavender etc, with each wash, which is in itself cheap to use.We've used them for over a year and get clean cloths every time, and to date we've got 80% left, thats because the nuts can be used over and over again. To work out how many times you can us is left to experience, 6 to 8 times is not unusual, and varying on what you wash it's 2 to 8 nuts.When I first first read about them I doubted what I read, but since buying them I have became a lifetime supporter.The "Big" thing for most of us is, apart from getting clean clothes they save a lot of money. And if you suffer Eczema and other skin problems, it helps a treat.I would not support anything unless I have complete faith, and Indian Soap Nuts are soothing I support and have complete faith in.
