This product is such a useful and helpful tool to have if you want to start trimming and shaping your beard. From a price point of view, this is great value for money. I have had much more expensive products in the past and this beats them all by a mile. There is a large variety of sizes that come with the package and all of them very helpful.I can charge this one to full and it will last me probably 4 shaving sessions and each shave will take about 20 minutes and I would most likely shave every 5 days so this has got a very good battery life when idle and when being used.Overall I am very happy with this product and still use it now.

Not the most powerful trimmer out there so takes a little longer than bigger ones. But is still good value for money. The accessory combs etc. are fine and easy to wash. Just oil the trimmer heads now and then.

It’s a good size, weight and functions very well for a good range of hair lengths. I use it for my head, beard and nose hair, but it can be used virtually anywhere on the body (just make sure you use the guards if you’re going anywhere sensitive!)The addition of the nose hair trimmer was the clincher for me.My least favourite thing is that it can’t be used while charging, and that the charging time is so long; just make sure you fully charge it before starting your head!

Good brand with some decent adjustments would have liked to have seen another smaller attachment for shaving. The main problem with this product in the on/off slide/ button.The power button is simply is not fit for purpose, its finish is too smooth and sleek to match the main body, however, this causes a lot of problem turning on and off, mostly leading to you having to use your nails to force on or off. If you use your thumb as the design would suggest you will fail more times than not unless you have tiger or lioness like sticky paws.The simple bladed cut (without tool attachment) is also not very short. I've owned a cheaper product for some time with I luckily kept hold of which cuts a lot shorter than this and you can turn it on and off which less than half the price. I would score this a 2.5 and advise looking at alternative products. It's a good brand and I expected more such a pitty.

I work odd hours, and I have a two year old, and it seems whenever I need a haircut, I can never make it to the barbers during opening hours. I've bought items like this in the past, and always been disappointed, but these were surprising good. The charge life on them was more than sufficient, they give a really good, clean cut... the only downside is they are so good, my wife has started to use them...

Compared to a Babyliss, which seemed flimsy and unconvincing , and whose switch failed, leading to the Braun purchase, the latter felt much more robust -- and it was very much better value, on a special deal admittedly. I was very satisfied until it failed completely. As I was abroad it was doubly inconvenient and yes, I was using the correct voltage and so on for the charger and it has never been dropped or misused.. Given that I rarely trim more than once a week for it only to last just over a year is pretty poor performance. Sending things back is a pain, especially when you can't access your account because messages say you need to reinstate cookies. Perhaps on-line shopping is not the good idea it should be. Not happy.

I use mine only for beard / nose / ear trimming but can't complain. It came fully charged. All I had to do was use a 2 pin to 3 pin plug to recharge it and had no problems with it, unlike others writers. The long comb can be adjusted to various shaving lengths, for the hair for example; the other two combs are marked 1 and 2, I presume for 1mm and 2mm trims? I had no difficulty with mine staying on the head, when fitted correctly. For the cost I would recommend it for beard / nose / ear trimming.

I would like to start by saying that I have been using Braun products for the past 7 years and currently own a 3080s (I have also gifted a number of shavers) and have always been impressed by build, battery life and overall durability.About this product:The good:+ Accesories+ PriceThe Bad:- Battery life & charging time: I really struggle getting a full beard trim on a single charge. The battery also seems to lose charge over time... this is a complete polar end to my 3080s which I can’t remember the last time I charged! Charging time on this product takes forever, if you need to shave and are out of battery you’re out of luck...- build quality: while nothing has broken (yet) this is clearly a cheap little shaver that feels hollow and clumsy. The shaving heads can very easily slip out of place and change setting lenght setting... takes getting used to- Braun Brand: while this is very personal, this is miles away from what I have learned to expect from Braun... so far that I even thought whether this product could be a replica- blade oscillation: I find that the blades run too slow (on full charge) and therefore it’s a bit more difficult and time consumingSummary:Cheap and does the “trick” for the basic stuff, for the price you get a lot of accessories but I would think hard about buying a slightly better Braun product as this is very much entry-level and for me it struggles fulfilling its basic purpose.I still love the brand, but would think hard about buying this again.... mainly due to build and bad battery life
