We run this a minimum of 7 hours a day as we have it on overnight. Only draws around 21W so very cheap to run. Makes a big gust of wind that is quite directional. Works with smart plug as you just leave it in a certain mode. Seems to be very solid and well made as I said we have had it quite a while and it is going strong.

Pretty decent entry level fan, does the job, my partner found it a little too noisy to sleep with but I was fine because I wear foam earplugs. Kept us cool in the summerIt doesn't have any way of tilting it up or down so we had to balance it on some books in order to get it to point it in the right direction. The side to side span is quite wide - nearly 180 degrees - so it's good if you want to cover a large area but less good if you want it to cover a smaller area

Great fan! Works as intended and easy to set up. Perhaps not the most powerful but definitely powerful enough to cool down small rooms by a bit.Not loud at all, especially on lower speeds. There's some noise to it but nothing above average for a fan of its size.

Got one similar to this about 10 years ago - still works but in one of the bedrooms. This works well. Set up in seconds - fitting base easy. Voila!! Bargain and it's a fan - didn't want anything fancy - just a decent, basic tower fan. No remote but levels 1-3 on the fan and 1 is a decent enough cool flow if it's within a metre or so. 👍👍

There are three settings that go from not too loud to loud. Its never quiet but its a good fan. If you’re sensitive to sounds this isn’t the fan for you but the fan performance is worth it. It’s easy to use, and easy to set up, and its rotating setting is great. I was boiling in this heat and now it’s more bearable thanks to this fan. Even on the lowest setting the performance is good, still loud though so keep that in mind. I would recommend this for a small/medium room, or just direct the fan towards yourself. I haven’t used the timer function so I won’t review that.

Decent fan, the fan speeds are not that different between settings and the timer seems to have broke on mine a week or so after getting it where it doesn’t tick down on time. It also has a very annoying ticking noise (presumably the timer) which can be faintly heard underneath the sound of the air blowingAll around it’s decent enough for the price but might want to fork out a little extra for a better fan

Bought this after getting a desk fan to try and get air flow in my room during the UK heatwave and it was a life saver.The timer function works well, though sometimes it will make an annoying ticking noise after the timer has ended that goes on for a random period of time before stopping; minor annoyance at best.Hard to speak on the noise level as I haven't had any other fans to compare it to, but I wouldn't say its all too noisy, I'm still able to focus on other things I need to do without the sound distracting me.Definitely worth the amount I paid, as I expected I'd need to pay in the £50+ for a good quality tower fan.EDIT: a couple days after writing this, the timer function ceased to work, so now I can no longer leave it running as I fall asleep, I have to turn it off the moment I want to go to bed. Haven't had it that long so am fairly annoyed the dial stopped working this soon.
