It's A BUY! But Not Perfect!
What is there to say about this card that already hasn't been said to date? It is in the upper tier of 1080Ti's. It has RGB, with the ability to set both zones independently. The latest ICX Cooler design. It's quiet and runs as cool as the rest in this tier. It's performance is monstrous! Beastly! And worthy of every other overused, tacky adjective from todays generation that will surely be abusively used in future reviews to describe it. But, is it the best iteration of the 1080Ti available?Maybe.I bought the Gigabyte Aorus, as the G1 980Ti I was running in my rig performed so well, just like the G1 970 I had before it. Then returned it. Not because it was a poor performer. But, because of the flimsy Fan Shroud design. I like the overall design appearance compared to the bland EVGA design, even with the not so popular orange accents. Gigabyte is known for bulletproof hardware as well. But the tin used for the fan shroud, and the afterthought mounting design choice led me to return it. I just couldn't excuse the shoddy execution exhibited in a piece of hardware sold at such a premium price. It was just too inexcusable. In terms of the FTW3, it's built solid, but it is excruciatingly BORING to look at, ESPECIALLY for a card that includes an abundance of tacky RGB font on the front of the card. But hey, like a woman with a hot body cursed with an average face, you can excuse the iffy looks when you have the business end to make up for it. The card performs. IN SPADES!BUT, this card isn't the most well rounded to date. It earns the 5 stars for its solid design, performance, and especially for the EVGA brand continuing to perform as we have come to expect. THAT is what matters most when choosing a card at this price point. It gets the 5 stars from me, but just. I do like the Ti RGB branding in the backplate, as well as the overall look of the backplate. When you look at the history of EVGA card design, they are at least consistent in producing rather bland looking hardware that simply performs, so that is what I judged this card on. That is why the 5 stars instead of 4. You get what you would expect when buying an EVGA card. This card lives up to the hype, in terms of performance. It's software, while not refined, is solid for what it is. They could have worked to execute a few things better, like the power connector placement. Why, EVGA!?! WHY use RGB on parts of the card only to have two ugly power cables block some of it? With that though, you won't regret your purchase, and hopefully someday, we'll get a card from a company that we can definitively point to as 'the standard' for what we expect when paying such a premium. Until then, this card will do for my fraggin' fix. I'm sure it will satisfy your needs as well.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Even if it's not perfect.

Excelled beyond my expectations
Absolutely fantastic. with my fan curve 'picture included for anyone curious' kept it at 61-62c during this summer heat and using folding@home and was achieving approximately 1m PPD. an average of 63-67c whilst gaming with Crysis 3 maxed settings at 1440p with an average of 90 fps and lows of 58 fps. GTA 5 at 1440p was an average of 135 fps with lows of 70 fps. these scores were achieved with a 6900k with an OC of 4.4Ghz and Cache at 3.7Ghz. Idles at 30-32c with an ambient temp of 25-26c. This Card has been OC'd to 2035 on the Core Clock and 1460 for Memory. No voltage has been added.Forgot to add that I played Fallout 4 with my 980 Sli with the High Res texture pack and the drops from 55 to 25 were all over the place. this 1080 Ti kept it all steady at 60 and never dropped. I did this testing in the late hours, so failed to capture the results.Tested my Sli 980s EVGA SC factory overclocked vs my 1080 Ti overclocked myself in Fire strike, Extreme, Ultra and Time SpyGraphic Scores onlyFire strike - 27 745 - 980 SliExtreme - 12 940 - 980 SliUltra - 6 482 - 980 SliTime Spy - 8 617 - 980 Sli---------------------------------------------Fire strike - 29 556 - 1080 TiExtreme - 14 418 - 1080 TiUltra - 7 104 - 1080 TiTime Spy - 9 322 - 1080 TiThis card can possibly go higher, I will see how much I can go before needing to add volts. If you're looking to get a 1080 Ti and you have good airflow, this card is for you. It's one of the cheapest, it does just as good a job as those with aftermarket parts, the warranty is transferable with EVGA and allows you to add a waterblock without voiding the warranty, if you wish to go down that path.

Evga gtx 1080ti SC.
Evga have gone all out on this gtx 1080ti.This card is really something else. From the moment you open and take thecard out box. You can really feel the build quality in this card. There seems to be some coil wine issue on gtx 1080 cards which some how has affected some of the gtx 1080ti cards.I am happy to report . I have no coil wine issues what so ever. Did I get lucky card ?Or maybe it's a because I paired it evga G3 supernova. I maxed out all games at ultra at 144hz. This really is the first card I have seen max out ghost recon wildlands at 144hz at 1080p on ultra and at 4k hit 55fps .I have nothing but praise for card.Looks amazing in the pc. Nice led optionsOn the card. This is 2 slot card. Not 2 and half so plenty of room for future sli.The price might scare some pc enthusiasts gamers like myself. I really see no point in purchasing a lower tier card. Only to have to upgrade again . Year after year games become more and more demanding. Sadly nothing really is future proof. But if you really want a 4k card with out sli option. This is the best single gpu choice. 11gbs of ddr5x.Temps at full load will not exceed 50F and the fans are completely silent. 3 year warranty as standard. So if Got new pc build but can not decide what card to get. This is card. Think of this card as Bugatti Veyron. blink and you'll miss it.Thanks Amazon.

Absolutely Killer GPU - Powerful, quiet, nicely styled.
This EVGA SC2 is an absolute delight. Built into my ITX gaming Pc, it runs a 3440x1440p ultrawide with absolutely no problems at all. Solid frame rates on ultra settings across demanding titles. It self boosts to *1993* Mhz, 300+Mhz faster than it's rated at. It manages to stay quiet too - it lives next to me on my desk, fans top out at 35%, keeping the card in the mid 70s.With VGA support backing it up, this is just such a good product. And it stands up to the RTX launch too, with the only card that beats it's performance costing twice as much. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for and a high end build deserves a card like this.
