I’ve been using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for nearly 30 years - originally recommended by my dermatologist when I was struggling with acne - and it’s remained a constant ever since. It’s incredibly gentle, doesn’t strip the skin, and just quietly does its job without irritation. The introduction of this eco refill pouch is a really positive step. It’s easy to use, reduces plastic waste, and means I can keep using a product I trust without the extra packaging. For anyone with sensitive or problem-prone skin, this is a reliable, no-fuss cleanser - and it’s great to see the brand moving in a more sustainable direction.

I wasn’t sure what the fuss was about before I started using this. Now I get it. I love how it leaves my skin feeling perfectly clean without stripping it at all. At 50 I struggle with dry skin so this is perfect for me but I’d say it would be great for all ages. I wish I’d found it sooner.

Gentle and reliable for daily use
This cleanser is mild, soothing and great for sensitive or dry skin. It cleans without irritation and the niacinamide and glycerin help keep skin calm and hydrated. The large pump bottle is convenient and lasts a long time. It’s a simple, dependable cleanser just not the best choice if you prefer a deep, foaming wash.

The best skin cleanser
I have been recommended this product by several dermatologists. It's a thick, gentle cleanser and very mild. I sometimes have issues with my eyes and have been told to clean them thoroughly and Cetaphil has never burned or stung. It's got a very very mild scent, doesn't dry the skin and spreads very well. My wife spends a fortune on skin care and now steals this.

Great cleanser for sensitive/dry skin in the winter
The product is great, lightweight and friendly for my skin type. I have quite dry skin and this helps alot, especially for the winter time. I also use sunscreen, and so my face feels quite oily by the end of the day. This product ends up making my skin feel clean. However when using it, make sure to emulsify (rubbing your hands together with the product for around 30 seconds), so that it foams up a little bit. This way it will really get into your pores and do its job. For the scent, it has a light smell of a basic cream, kind of like vanilla/cocoa in a way. You cant smell it on your face however when its washed off. It doesn't foam as much as other foaming cleansers though, as it is supposed to be more for gentle and sensitive skin types, so if you have more oily skin, go for something that foams more.
