A nice double fryer with each side working independently so no need to heat up both sides if you only need to use one. Easy to assemble and easy to dismantle for cleaning. I've seen several reviews of other similar type of fryers including well known brands where buyers complain the baskets don't sit straight and tend to lean to one side in the tank. That's not the case with this fryer as both sides do sit straight. I've also seen complaints that the basket handles are loose and pose a danger when lifting the baskets out of the hot oil. There is no problem with that as all you need to do is pull the handle right back so it clips in to the retainer clip at the top of the basket which keeps it tight. I think some people don't realise they need to do that and just assume the handle stays loose. Overall it's a good piece of kit and I'm pleased with its performance.

Well, I haven't owned a deep fat fryer in years and have bought oven chips, being the healthier option. However, we recently made some homemade chicken kievs which needed a brief deep fry to seal them and we ended up just using a saucepan filled with oil. This prompted us to purchase a proper deep fryer and oh my god, I so wish we'd got one sooner. All those soggy frozen chips and uncrisp scampi are a thing of the past! We used the fryer for the first time last night, taking advice from others about which type of potatoe to use and how best to cook them for that fresh chippy result. Well, we used maris piper, and once they were chipped, boiled them slightly to soften and then left them out on a rack to cool. We cooked them first for a few minutes at 130 degrees until they were turning slightly golden, took them out, whacked the temp up to 190 and then put them back in. The result was perfect and they were so delicious! Then, in went the scampi while we drained the chips on some kitchen towel and they cooked up beautifully. A simple, quick Friday evening meal (with peas and tartare of course) but so yummy we can't wait to use it again. By the way, we used rapeseed oil as we use this for a lot of frying and the chips were golden. Yum, yum, yum!!!!!! This is a great fryer, it doesn't take up too much room on the kitchen surface and looks very sleek and professional. You do have to make sure you fix the handle on in the correct way (it clips INSIDE the basket, not the outside) and it's super easy to clean. We are thrilled for the price. Thank you!

Bought this because the old one got broken moving home. Works well, does exactly as described. Be aware that with the two trays it is bigger so need space for it in the kitchen.

Bought this as a Christmas gift, size and capacity are so worth the money, the heat and temperature are spot on, the useage of 2 baskets at same time is very versatile and reduces cooking times,obviously 1st time usage even after wiping out is that new smell but quickly disappears and doesn't affect the food.Found this to be a god send my father in law absolutely raves about this product. Great value for money built well.

As in topic- it is 1st perfect deep fryer I ever tried. Using it for half year now, still works fine and looks good. Easy to use, clean and maintain, foldable, all part detachable so you can easily empty the oil and wash. It gets temperature ver fast. Frying basket at least twice big comparing to standard fryers, I can fry 2-3 large fish portions at time or a couple of chicken drumsticks. That’s speed up your cooking massively. One disadvantage - external body is made from thin metal so you must be very careful to avoid heat burning but apart that- perfect stuff

Only used it once. Flimsy but, cooked the chips ok. Can't get the lid on properly because of the exposed heating element. (Re element). I put the lid on the wrong way round. Silly me. used it for frozen chips. Very nice. I like how the main part lifts off for washing. Time will tell

This deep fat fryer is ideal for large kitchens but unfortunately wasn’t suitable for my kitchen as there wasn’t enough room for it but otherwise it is great for deep frying many things.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This looks great and is great to start with. I purchased this in September as my wife does a lot of cooking. It draws a lot of power to the point the wire gets hot and the plug glowing as my wife found out 2 days ago when the plug burned her hand trying to remove it from the socket. The socket has been checked and is fine. If we plug the fryer in and wait just a few minutes the wire gets hot quickly. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend as it is a fire hazard.
