Great price for the amount! The tingling sensation is very scary if you're a first time user like me! But I recently am caffeine free & needed a boost to meet my workout goals and instead of a pre workout drink I thought I'd try this and was surprised with the results, if you can see past the tingling, it made me focus more, I absolutely smashed my 5k today. I will continue to take and see if it continues to work for me!

One the best ingredients for my home made concoction pre-workout drinks. Add it to BCAA then mix it up and down it goes along with a caffeine tab or two. Research has shown the benefits of beta-alanine supplementation to improve muscle endurance and support muscle strength. I know when I am out out of Beta Alanine as I can notice the differences is certain gym sessions. Once drank like most users I do experience the tingles from the Beta Alanine. The reason for these tingles is "paresthesia" which is a harmless tingling (or itching, burning, prickling, numbness) sensation that many people feel after ingesting beta-alanine via their pre-workout subside after a short while, roughly 15 minutes, and from regular use overall effects are barely noticeable yet the product will still aid performance. How does beta-alanine work? beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid that binds to histidine to form muscle carnosine. Carnosine buffers, or neutralizes, the hydronium ions that lead to muscle fatigue and failure. A little routine I used to get over the initial feelings of the tingles when I first stared using Beta Alanine was: Take ½ scoop of my pre-workout at my normal time (15-30 min before working out) Take the other ½ scoop 20 minutes later (on my way to the gym or as I began warming up) Over a few weeks of doing this I found that I was able to increase the amount in my one preworkout drink. Every 4 to 6 weeks I would take a break for a few weeks then start another cycle. I keep on buying this particular brand of Beta Alanine as it has proven to work for me. As expected from pure Beta Alanine, this product gives a great boost to workout endurance, especially for high-rep exercises. It mixes easily in water with no noticeable flavour (which is good). Be aware of the usual 'tingle' effect, which confirms it's working.

Con prodotti di questo tipo parto da un principio molto semplice: meno roba c’è dentro, meglio è. Qui apro la confezione, leggo gli ingredienti e trovo praticamente quello che volevo trovare. Una polvere senza aromi strani, dolcificanti o miscugli chilometrici. Il formato da 500 grammi è poi uno di quei casi in cui grande è decisamente meglio. Sono circa 125 porzioni, quindi è una bella scorta e non devo ritrovarmi continuamente con il fondo della confezione. Se è qualcosa che entra stabilmente nella propria routine, per me ha molto più senso così 👍 La polvere è abbastanza fine e nello shaker si comporta bene. La metto insieme a quello che bevo normalmente durante la mia routine di allenamento e dopo aver agitato non mi ritrovo con mezzo prodotto incollato sul fondo. Essendo senza aroma non posso certo dire che sia buona 😅, ma il sapore è talmente poco invadente che riesco tranquillamente a dimenticarmi della sua presenza. Poi c’è lui: il formicolio. La prima volta mi ha fatto quasi ridere. Dopo un po’ ho iniziato a sentire quella strana sensazione soprattutto sul viso e sulle mani e, pur sapendo che poteva succedere, quando lo si prova davvero è particolare. Con il tempo ci ho fatto l’abitudine, ma rimane probabilmente l’unico aspetto che può rendere questa polvere poco piacevole per qualcuno. In certe giornate lo sento appena, in altre decisamente di più. Per quanto riguarda ciò che succede durante l’allenamento preferisco non inventarmi superpoteri. Faccio già attenzione a programmazione, alimentazione e recupero, quindi attribuire una buona sessione a un singolo misurino sarebbe poco credibile. Quello che posso giudicare è il prodotto in sé, e qui faccio davvero fatica a trovare qualcosa che mi infastidisca.
