Great product have three different levels depending on how much fragrance you want in your hallways we live in an apartment block so of course it is where the hallway can really stink up so we’ve put this in there to ensure our place smells lovely when we are going to our home and it works really well. The highest level is very strong so if it’s for a big room would be fantastic. The lowest one is a more subtle scent

This was the first Yankee Candle plug-in scent unit I'd owned in about a decade. I'll admit, I preferred my old unit, which more closely mimicked the shape of a Yankee housewarmer jar candle, with a shade. The new design doesn't have the same aesthetic, and I'm not madly keen on the textured pattern on the front, which seems to trap dirt.The base unit is sold as a bare bones item, with no accompanying room scent bottles. On the positive side, this means you can have complete choice of scents from the outset, on the negative then unless you order scent refills at the same time this isn't useable straight out of the packet. This base unit came as two pieces, with the shade section not installed onto the plug - it was a little fiddly to install. There is a three position switch on the top of the unit that allows you to alter the intensity at which it works. This isn't explained, but there are three dots running from small to large, indicating the scent strength of output when selected. I've been running this with a lemon lavender refill for about a fortnight. This seems to work well, and even in the current heatwave with the plug set to maximum output a little less than half the jar has been used. The scent I have running in the base is good and strong, and smells just like the lemon lavender candles. Even my dad, who can be quite oblivious to such things, noticed it ("I can smell something")!

So I was praying for this to come and behold it arrived well before the date due!! Great packaging also. When I ordered I expected the white top plug in as shown...I got the grey?? Just a bit confused as to why it shows another design but recieved another, anywhoo that is the least! I brought this along with the 'Midsummer Nights' refils and have pluged it in straight away...there is no light indicator to see when plugged in and switched on at the socket as my Glade one does which it should for; 1- the price is pricey but im hoping true to its name it wont let me down lol & 2 - It is a good to have a light indicator to help recognise the switch is on as I am sure we are all aware of the health & safety risks associated with electrical plug- ins. NOW I am currently waiting for the smell to start filling the hall so fingers crossed it will be great as i LOVE this smell...it is currently in my car with vent sticks and bathrooms using the room difuser which I must let you know is a must have!! I will at present give 3/5 stars simply because I am waiting for the smell and as you can read a tad eager to review! When I am satisfied with the aroma it gives off I shall change to 5/5 stars.

I have used plug in air fresheners before which were rubbish. A friend told me that Yankee did plug in's, so as I like their candles I thought I would give them a go. I have been using them for a few weeks now and I am very happy with them. They are not too bulky and obvious, and with the fragrance attachment they give a nice subtle fragrance to my home. Very happy.

Nice decorative looking thing, think I'll go for the black one next!Update 2020:Ok so today I was looking for some Air Wick plugins as I found a bunch a refills lying around the house, while trying to do a bit of dodgy work I came across these old plugins by Yankee Candle and to my pleasant surprise, Air Wick refills fit right into these, in fact they're simply Air Wick designs with a decorative bit put in front, there's even a cut-out for the back of the Air Wick refill........ tut tut Yankee Candle
